Had one last week and agree with the 'boring' comments. Not bad, but the beer world does not need another average IPA.

I enjoy it, but I paid $11.75 for a sixer. Not even close to being worth that price. Drop the price down about 3 dollars and we'll talk.

I haven't tried this beer yet. But I agree with both of you on the Fact that Metamodern Sounds in Country Music is a Masterpiece.

    I paid $8 here in Arizona....ouch.

I really enjoyed it, but it wasn't $11 good. I'll stick to my locals (Dragoon IPA in this case)

Has anyone learned what the hops on this one are? I'm curious because of the crazy mixed reviews.

Grabbed a 6 pack for the backcountry on the holiday weekend...both my climbing partner and I were like WTF did we carry this weight for, very underwhelmed.

Just had one and thought it was pretty good. The smell reminds me of many of the new session IPAs, which I like. The taste is great and better than a lot of the IPAs out there. It is obviously not the best, but I will be buying more.

    Solid IPA, not mind-blowing, but it's $8 for a 6-pack, so there's that.

I think this IPA is fantastic, it has an excellent aroma & very enjoyable citrus flavor. I would also like to know which hops were used (Mosaic? Citra?). This one has quickly become one of the best-selling craft beers ($9.99) in my shop, and is one of my favorite new beers of the year.

According to this article, the hops are Ella, Topaz, Vic Secret, and Enigma: http://www.westword.com/restaurants...ith-australian-hops-and-a-simple-name-6977659

I think the new IPA from OB is good too. Not sure I can rank it in my top 10 of IPAs that I consistently drink, but solid. Wouldn't necessarily buy it every week, but certainly wouldn't avoid it. Solid all around.

Agreed. I think it's one of the better reasonably-priced session IPAs out there right now.

I really enjoyed this. It's subtle. It doesn't smack you in face with pine and resin, but the hop character is definitely there. Smells and tastes very dank right off the bat. Only tasted it once last night, but I'm definitely curious as to what I might pull out of it upon closer examination.

its unique. I'll give it that.

Its also kind of strange. Its not really bitter on the tongue but it made the rest of my mouth feel a similar kind prickly sensation. It kind of freaked me out.

I think its tasty but what is the hop bill on this because i think theres citra and something is giving off a vegetal burnt smoky earthy type of thing that took me by suprise actually. Kind of odd but i think its unique
