    Was on my way home work tonight and received the following text from my Wife: "Also I bought some beer for you and just noticed it's stamped 12/2014, should I not drink it?"
    Love her for not only buying me beer, but also she has heard me talk about freshness (mostly learned from here on BA) and thought anything outside 3 months would be rotten!
    BTW, she had bought me Ambrewsia IPA from Brewmaster Jack located in Worcester,MA.
    So, BA, I'm sure others have had other funny texts from the ones they love. Looking forward to a good laugh!

    From my Mom while visiting family in Virginia: " I got a lot of the beer on your list. They ran out of the one you wanted"
    Me: "Was it Parabola, did they have Parabola?!?"
    Mom:"I don't know. But he did recommend a beer he thought you would really want"
    Me: "What is it?"
    Mom: "I don't remember, I bought it though. I think it was a Dark Horse beer"
    Me: "Dark Horse? We have that here, we went to the brewery, remember?"
    Mom: "Whatever"
    FYI, it was Lickinghole Creek "Illuminatos", lol.
    I've told her a lot of people want to trade with me for that. She said, " Don't trade that! I got that just for you!" We will share it when she's finished with chemo :slight_smile:

    My coworkers wife was visiting her mother, had a Belgian beer, asked mom if she had a tulip glass...she sent him a picture of a big drinking glass with tulips on it

    I asked my girlfriend if she felt like building me a mix-a-6 at my go-to shop of random IPAs. I get a text back a few hours later:

    Her "I got your 6 pack of IPBs."

    "IPB?"

    Yes, dear. I'll take my "IPB". At least she's pretty.

    Of course I made the mistake of saying I would not buy anymore until Christmas break and then I found out that 4Beans is now here in Dallas. Not sure how this is gonna play out.

    Best text arrived in the middle of a work day. It was simply a picture of two bottles of Pliny. I suddenly felt impulse to take half a sick day.
