    Happy Friday BA's,
I'll be in town on Thursday, 9/17 and saw on Westwood.com that Rumpkin will be released this Sunday.
Can anyone tell me if this is brewery only for a short time or if this might be available in any Denver bottle shops? If available in shops, can anyone recommend any best-chance shops?
If brewery only, if anyone might be able to part with a few bottles, BM me and maybe we can work something out.
Many thanks from a NorCal BA.

It will make it to shops...but I dunno if it will make it to the shops by the time you are here (it might be a week or so later before it reaches stores). Check Small Batch, Mr. B's or Argonaut if you're downtown. If I were around this Sunday to grab a few bottles from the release for you, I would, but I'll be out of town.

I should also clarify that I'm ISO other BA Avery stuff. Shops or IP trade

    Doesn't California get Rumpkin?

I think there are still bottles of last year's Rumpkin floating around.

There is definitely some other Avery BA stuff still floating around. Try Joy Wine...I think they had a pretty good stash last time I was in there.

If we do, it's not my area.

I think there may still be some bottles from last year around, although I could be confusing Pumpkyn with Rumpkin. It doesn't exactly sell itself.

I doubt you can find any Rumpkin or Pumpkyn still laying around from 2014. Despite the price it will sell out.

Pretty sure I saw at least one of the two at Atlas last week. They have a ton of the Avery BA bottles.

I highly doubt I will see this in Wyoming but one can hope right?

Can anyone comment from previous experiences on going to this release about how long bottles usually last at the brewery? Hoping to make it out there on Tuesday. @SanFranJake If I make it out there on Tuesday and there's still bottles left I can snag you some. Let me know if interested and we can work something out.

They won't run out of Rumpkin.
Last year they kept the bottles in the cooler for purchase well after the release day. That was new. Up until then if you didn't get it on release day you had to wait until they hit stores. But with last year's Rumpkin and Pum[KY]n they changed that.
So if they follow what they did last year, you shouldn't have any problem getting any the following Tues.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was still 2014 pum[ky]n floating around, but I'd be shocked to find '14 rumpkin. Also, I would buy it all instantly.

Starting really last year, there's been plenty of Rumpkin to go around. Not hard to find anymore which is great.

With a few exceptions, the Avery foil topped 12oz bottles tend to be readily available now. Never been a fan of Rumpkin, but I really enjoyed Pump[KY]n. If you're in the general area, Boulder Liquor Mart and Hazel's usually have whatever the current foil tops are.

I have noticed gold tops all over the south side as well. They seem to be sitting around more, I can only attribute this to higher bottle numbers. And y'all can keep that rumpkin, just leave a couple pump[ky]ns behind for me. I love that beer.

Higher bottle numbers and the sours don't sell as well. I think the last 4 sour releases can still be found around Denver.

Probably because they all taste the exact same, and that's not a good thing. Avery sours have gone the way of Almanac - overly acidic and one dimensional.
