I literally died laughing at this! I had the EXACT same experience when my mom went to Saint Louis a couple weeks ago. Different beers, but almost the exact same conversation! Even down to the beer store guy offering a "local beer" that we had in AZ! Classic!

 

Wife "so I bought some milk for the kids"
Me "ok..."
Wife "there no room in the garage fridge because of all the beer"
Me "I read an article saying the hormones in milk is making young boys grow boobs"
Wife "haha. Nice try"

A little later...
Me "I think your saying I need to drink more beer"
Wife "lol.. Perhaps buy less?"

 

Babe, most of those are winter beers that have a mounted

"That is less than 4 cases"

 

At Costco:


Answer: A case. And she came through.

 

Girlfriend: "Can we never buy that much beer at once again?"

I have to admit, this was much more than I would typically buy. We had just come home from a family vacation in Cape Cod and unpacked. My mother likes to indulge in tasty craft beer as well so when we went to the packaging store in Massachusetts and she tells me "build your own 6-packs are on me", what am I supposed to do? We must have come home with about 5-6 6-packs, a few 22 oz bottles, and two growlers.

We also live in an apartment with one refrigerator and not much storage space. She granted me some additional cabinet room to store everything that didn't fit in the refrigerator. Thankfully, she is supportive of the craft habit!

 

I went to the champions league soccer final in Berlin this summer. Sent my wife a picture

Wife, " you should keep drinking you geek"
Me, " beers have only been ok"
Wife," go to another country. Try Iran"

 

"how long is this gonna last?"
"as long as it takes"

 

If you have a large cellar I hope its hidden and she never finds it lol

 

Where in Dallas?! I've called two places that had it: they're out. Called my other "usual suspects," and nothing. Let a brother in on where you may find some...

my girlfriend calls me 'beebs' (something extremely cute or cuddly) and sometimes i'll call her that when i'm texting her, but my iPhone always changes it to 'beers.'

siri knows me well.

 

My wife found Stone Enjoy By, and texted me to see if I wanted an entire case. "Yes please!"

BTW: if you don't need the Brewmaster Jack beer caps, I would be happy to take them. I collect these, and I have not been able to get my hands on one.

 

None from my wife, but my oldest daughter keeps me in mind when traveling. When in florida, she drove into Destin one day and stopped at some huge store and started going shelf by shelf telling me what they had. Eventually went and grabbed the beer guy and made him go thru it with her.

 

The guy from our alarm company was over working on our alarm (family friend).

My wife texted me: "Hey, Jerry just left. He saw your bar and started talking about how he has really gotten into different beers lately. I gave him a couple bottles of yours... Hope you don't mind."
Me: "That depends on what you gave him"
Wife: "One of the Dog beers & one of those Founders beers"
Me: "..."
It was a Dogfish Head 120 Minute & a Founders KBS...
