Won't know unless you try it. Unfortunately both those beers are expensive.

Your post has me contemplating mixing Boulder Shake with Full Tilt Imperial Pumpkin.

I always have good results blending beer so if you think it sounds good it will probably turn out well.

Edit: Try it on draft if possible? A bar I frequent is currently pouring ST Mokah and Pumking. If I go there within the next few days I may ask for this blend.

I'm wondering about the ratio, too. I mean, I don't think a 50/50 split would end well. Perhaps more Pumking spiked with some Creme Brulee? And yes, it's a bummer this little experiment might be somewhat costly, at least to someone in my shoes.

My local shop said this was good, I'm suspiscious. For me I like 50/50 Pumking + your favorite cider + 1 shot JD Honey.

Lol. I just cant stand pumpking any more. Idk why as I used to enjoy it but it just tastes so fake to me.

Interesting, man. Very interesting. Sounds like one helluva beverage. Thanks for the input!

I am not a big fan of Pumking and I really don't like Creme Brulee. So now, this doesn't sound interesting to me and I wouldn't volunteer to try it.

I'd cut the Creme Brulee down in any blend, it's a sugar bomb. Like 20 CB/80 Pumking

I fear I have inadvertently started a 'I hate Pumking' thread...

...which is upsetting as a huge Pumking fan.

Either way, thanks for the feedback, and keep the opinions coming - I can't decide if this blending idea is genius or diabetes-inducing insanity.

Yeah, kinda my gut reaction as well. I think a straight equal blend might kill a man.

Whoa. I feel like a caveman rubbing two sticks together and you just walked into my cave with a Zeppo.

Serious Eats suggested blending Pumking and a rauchbier last year. I tried it and thought it was decent. I did have like 3 or 4 beers before it, though...

An off-brand Zippo. Or a typo. Who's to say?

Any ideas on what could be blended with a Creme Brulee that wouldn't give me instant diabetes? I have one that is just rotting away in the collection, and something that is on the sweeter side might actually make it drinkable. That beer by itself tastes like a cake.

I would mix 50/50 Pumking and Creme Brulee
And then immediately pour it down the drain.
Both of those beers are just awful.

Yep, I've done it. Warlock and Creme Brulee is even better. I also did a Dogfish Head Punkin and Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout. Adjust it in whichever direction you prefer (chocolate or pumpkin spice).

It's cool to hate on pumpkin beers whenever the opportunity arises.

Heck, just try watering it down with a smaller stout. I bet the mouthfeel on guinness would go well. A brown ale like maduro might be pretty good too!

Let us know how it goes.
