Hey guys. I am making a VT road trip in a two weeks and was wondering if you could provide some pricing info for the following beers. I expect the beers to be costly. I just don't want to get gouged at second hand retailers. For most of the beers I will be buying singles, four or six packs IF i can find them. If you just know just the case price that will give me a good gauge too. Thanks in advance. Also if you know of any good bottle shops (not packies) in Burlington please let me know.

    Fiddlehead - Master Mind
    Alchemist - Headytopper,
    Alchemist - Focal Banger
    Alchemist - The Crusher
    Trillium - Artaic
Trillium - Double Dry Hopped Congress Street
New England Brewing Company - Ghandi-Bot
Lawsons Finest - Sip of Sunshine also Double or Triple Sunshine
    Lawsons Finest - Double Sunshine
    Lawsons Finest - Triple Sunshine
    Maine Beer - Dinner (I don't think it's available)

The only things you'll definitely find are heady and SOS. $15 a 4-pack is standard. Not sure if those Trillium beers will be available and they're brewery only, focal banger is bar only (maybe $6-7 a can) and the crusher hasn't been brewed in a while. Double and triple sunshine won't be around, and mastermind would be brewery only but doubtful there's a release soon...

You may find g-bot in CT, not sure what that runs, maybe $12 a 4-pack?

I don't buy many of these beers, but those Trillium beers are not available now and will not be available in two weeks. It's impossible to say what will be. Trillium bottles in general are $8-12 and are 750ml. 64oz and 32oz growlers are available at $5 for the glass. 64oz fills are $18-23, 32oz are $8-12 I think. Go there and get what they have when you are here.

Edit: The only place to find Trillium beers these days are from the brewery. No samples or pints, just bottles and growlers to-go.

Gandhi Bot has not been distributed in quite a while. They had 2 big can releases this summer at the brewery, but they were announced the day of and sold out in hours.

Heady and sip are the only ones with regular deliveries both are gone day of delivery. Aside from trillium stuff none of the others are being brewed

You can go get Heady & SoS and follow it up with Hill Farmstead. There's always bottles to be had and growlers as well.

Did you do any research into these beers at all? Doesn't seem like it.

Mastermind is only being released once more this year, on Sat 10/31, a brewery only event more than likely. Fiddlehead will have can releases of their Second Fiddle every 2 Saturday's, then an off week, should be SF events on 9/19, 9/26, 10/10, and 10/17 at the brewery.

I don't think I've had all those beers in one calendar year, much less a weekend, much less by bottle, and much less to be shopped around for the best deal. But hey - best of luck!

Not sure whether to be snide and say LOL, or helpful and say SOL. Enjoy Vermont anyway.

you will want to visit Beverage warehouse (the bevvy) in winooski - a stone's throw away in beer terms. While you ar ethere use your time to visit the mule bar and 4 quarters. Don't obsess about getting those beers and use untappd wisely to figure where beers are.
In august in Burlington we were SOL for Focal in the Farmhouse and 2 minutes on untappd showed it was available next door.
Good luck and be aware new englander's sense of humor may seem like bitchiness.[/QUOTE]

A bottle shop is a Packie around here..... The only beers available from your list are gonna be Heady which is $12.50-$15.99 a 4 pack and Sip of Sunshine which is i've never purchased but I hear is about the same price. Every other beer you mentioned like The Crusher & Double Sunshine havent been released in a year or more. Artaic was just brewed and sold out same with Ghandi Bot. Focal Banger is on site consumption only (1 special sale to go to date months ago)

TL:grinning:R Heady and Sip of Sunshine are around to purchase. Just do a little research and you will no problem scoring some.

If you combined Spaceballs with Caddyshack and Animal House and then had Benny Hill music playing in the background of the entire thing it still would not be half as funny as this post. . .

I think you forgot Kate the Great, Mott the Lesser, and a number of other rare beers from the top 250?

    Seriously though, excellent trolling!

Just as a point of reference, I think that Heady Topper at $3.50 for a 16oz can is probably the best great beer bargain in the USA.

Agreed, and yet there is one clown in the Vermont's Finest Liquid Lover's FB group that complains about how expensive heady is and that the Alchemist is intentionally limiting supply to drive up the price every chance he gets.
