    Been gone too long BA's..but will keep this short

    Have not been on site, or in my house, or living a normal life...since last Thursday...family evacuated due to the Butte Fire in Nor Cal

    fire raged up the hill that sits behind my home, and you can see behind this lovely G-fruit Sculpin

    we were fortunate it never crested and descended...thanks to fire crews massive efforts

    all good...safe...home now...(others, not so fortunate, sadly and tragically...lives and homes lost, our small communities hammered)

    but massive kudo's to all emergency workers...fire, law, medical..for their work that was stellar, selfless, heroic...AMAZING!

    Cheers to them...and all who battle on behalf of others

    ...along with cliche titles and awesome music (so awesome to be back in the BA-swing...missed it all)







    Will be back in full swing this weekend BA's...

    It's darker than the average (D)IPA, but not quite as dark as that pic makes it appear. Dark brown wood table; black wood piano. I obviously wouldn't know, but it doesn't taste off at all.

    Ouch. Glad you're OK. A good reminder that Cali is still dealing with a record drought, one that dates back four freaking years at this point, while the rest of us bitch about rain and humidity. Stay safe, man.

    We had a thunderstorm blow through this afternoon and knock a tree down in my yard. I'm drinking a Finest kind and trying to think of who I know that owes me a favor and has a chainsaw. Stupid nature.

    Canton crossing has cases upon cases of Secret Sauce. To me I prefer Double Duckpin but Secret Sauce is a seperate beast.
