Have never had this one, Pipeworks Abduction. I've had every variant though, and this is better than many of them. Good and roasty, with a bit of sweetness to it. Cheers! Friday's comin'!

So just to be clear, on Sunday it wasn't cool to start this thread at 10:00am, but today, a Thursday, starting it at 7:30am is no problem whatsoever. Got it.

Here, I drank a bunch of garbage.

I see they still haven't fixed the issue with the floaties in this IPA. They said they were trying to fix it but I guess they need some more time.

    Reviews:

This is Rochester Mills BBA Maple Brown ale. This was excellent! Aromas and flavors of big caramel, toffee, toast, brown sugar, brown bread, maple, vanilla, nuttiness, light chocolate, bourbon, oak, and light herbal hops. Light-moderate herbal bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Great balance between barrel character and dark/bready malt flavors. Well balanced sweetness against the oak/bourbon spice. A bit above medium bodied with a nice creamy mouthfeel with a touch of stickiness and drying bourbon notes in the finish. Very drinkable with a bit of light bourbon warmth after the finish. Zero complaints, this was absolutely delicious. This was better than the Abita one IMO. Much more robust/malty and stronger on the barrel complexity all around.

Good APWA. Aromas and flavors of lemon, pear, apple, light banana/pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitter finish; with well balanced American wheat yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors. Nice all around standard style complexity. Medium carb/body; with a smooth finish with some light wheat creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Nicely flavorful, pleasant, and very drinkable. I've had bolder/creamier versions of this style, but this is still a well made and balanced representation. Nicely enjoyable.

This finally showed up, they originally released this in Jan/Feb or so? Anyways, this was DAMN good. Aromas and flavors of bright lemon/orange peel, grapefruit, citrus rind, pear, apple, peppercorn, light pine, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy hops with yeast earthiness. Nice amount of peppery spice on the finish; with a smooth and crisp finish with a touch of wheat creaminess and hop stickiness on the mouthfeel. Well balanced yeast, hop, and pale malt flavors. Semi-dry finish. Super drinkable as expected of 4.9%. This is more of a session saison than a Belgian pale ale. Not enough malt character to even come close to the BPA style. Regardless, I have no complaints about it. Delicious stuff!

Seems about right. Pretty balanced, with a solid bitterness. Aroma comes across very malty

This guy goes by the name of Funkwerks Raspberry Provincial

I've been a fan of their saison for a while now and I like raspberry beers when done well so I went out on a limb and got a fill of this one:sunglasses:

I definitely do not regret it! Very tart as opposed to sugary sweet which IMO ruins a lot of fruit beers and it actually tastes like real raspberries unlike some of the sweeter, syrupy lambics that I've had. Awesome beer from an (in my opinion) underrated brewery!

Okay, I don't remember picking this one up when I was building my mix 4 pack, no real expectations on this one: Coney Island Brewing's Hard Root Beer. Hoping it isn't a drainpour..
