    I live less than an hour from New Glarus, but I think I'll pass. One of my least favorite styles of beer, I've got plans for Thursday, plan on getting ready for the Great Taste Saturday and plan on being too hungover to drive Sunday. More for everyone else, I guess.

    I took off work on Friday for this reason, but not selling any on Friday :angry:
    Oh well maybe if I am not to hungover from Great Taste I'll try on sunday

    So how quickly do people think this will sell out? If I take an early lunch on Thursday and get there before noon is that a couple hours too late?

    I actually think there will be two more Thumbprint releases this year. Looking at the schedule (http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/index.cfm/beers/beerschedule), there are four months left without Thumbprint beers. The schedule I saw had Enigma for Sep/Oct. There's speculation that the final release of 2012 will be Apple Ale, but I'm hoping for something different (they released the Apple Ale in 2010 and 2011).

    Yeah, I think I remember there talk of two more now that you mention it. Not on the website but really excited for more enigma. I only had 3 from the last release and drank my last one 2 months ago on my bday and it was amazing.

    Might want to read that again. They are releasing 50 cases on Thursday. There is no reference to their not selling any of the remaining cases on Friday. Assuming there is some leftover (at a 2 bottle limit this may be possible?) there is a decent chance you'll be able to get some on Friday afternoon.

    Not that I want to contribute to the hype train, but New Glarus has pretty limited shop hours as it is.. I think Thursday is like 10am-4pm..

    Going to try to make it Sunday after the Great Taste. Do you thinking a) getting there at 10 am will suffice or should we b) try to aim for 9-9:30 and get in line? I hope its A.....

    You might want to read the release information again.

    50 cases on Thursday, 50 cases on Saturday, 50 cases on Sunday.

    Based on that information (as they only have 150 cases) it appears it will not be for sale on Friday.
