I need to start participating in these "Go Fund Me" sites, etc. I've been going about it the wrong way, obviously...

I mean I get it. It sucks to either take heavier glass or pack disposable cups that can add useless extra waste. I think it's sill that you have to donate $45 dollars to get one of the actual tool, unless thats what they're going to actually retail for, then it's more of a "you fucking kidding me?" Retail should be no more than 10, though 15 might be okish. I also wonder why they didn't just add something so you didn't have to fish the lid out.

I look at it as hm that is like 4 silipints, so I am not their target audience.

They say 'pint' but all of the pictures are of 12oz cans.

I get it, better flow and beer always taste better when poured into a glass. but on the other hand, what I usually drink is bottled.... and the $45:grimacing: good luck selling them at that. that's less than what I paid for my yeti

No way would I ever contribute to this and I don't see the appeal. If the can edges are sharp after cutting I'm guessing this product is a lawsuit waiting to happen unless they put a warning label on their product, I would be looking at a products liability claim. Remember hot coffee without warnings on the labels?

Draft Top works by displacing four splitters on the bottom of the device, outwards to the inside rim of the can. The splitters then separate the top from the rim by folding the aluminum into itself. Draft Top is able to remove the top of 8oz-16oz cans.

When used properly Draft Top maintains the pressed outer rim of the can while leaving no sharp edges at the point of the cut.

It is not cutting, It is folding the aluminum inward. I have a can opener that works the same way. There are no sharp edges anywhere.

I'm not sure I get it either. I can kinda get the cool gadget factor* but most scenarios that come to mind bringing a cup is a cheaper solution. I guess if you and bunch of friends regularly go out hiking and don't mind chipping in for communal gear this'll win out on everyone buying their own collapsible cups. The higher the MSRP on this though the more friends you've gotta have or the more expensive the cups you have to have in mind.

*Particularly if you can bust it out at the right moment to be a party hero.

Or breweries can start doing this little number and you won't have to pay extra for shitty beer, plus having to buy a "top cropper". Cheers to Four Corners Brewing Company!

If you want the top off of the can so you can enjoy the beer more, pour it in a damn glass.

It doesn't matter what "fancy topper" they come up with, if you continue to buy shitty beer such as the Corona in the video, guess what, its still going to taste like shitty beer.

Honestly, it's a great invention, assuming it works well, as it appears to in the video
