GABF 2015 Meetups!

My wife and I will be at WTF on Wednesday, GABF on Thursday, pouring at the RBT on Friday, and hopefully doing the BA Does Denver on Saturday...assuming my liver is still functional.

 

I'll be at Hops and Pie at opening Wednesday then What the Funk that evening. Thursday going to Freshcraft at 4:00 then GABF Thursday night. Friday I'll be going to the Denver Rare Beer Fest then possibly Falling Rock later in the evening. Saturday going to the member's session for GABF. Still have an extra ticket for Thursday GABF I'd let go for slightly under face if anyone needs one.

 

I'm "planning on" Hops and Pie on Wed. Volunteering at WtF. GABF Beer Geek Th, Sat, Sat. Rare Beer Friday. Falling Rock for Sat night Dr. Bill.

 

"Planning" is a good word. I'm "planning" on going to Park Burger around noon tomorrow and have no idea where to after that. Probably Falling Rock and/or Trve. Wed will be Hops and Pie at opening and WTF that evening. Thurs will possibly be Fresh Craft around 3-4 then GABF. Fri is up in the air but thinking World of Beer early for the CA Tap takeover or possibly Hops and Pie around noon. Sat members only session most likely followed by an afternoon/evening in my hotel room by myself with a bottle of single malt, college football and appetizers. Sun up in the air, possibly Octoberfest.

I'll update if something changes but keep an eye out. I'll most likely be wearing shorts, you can't miss the sizeable black "mark" on my left calf. Come say hi, I'd love to meet ya'll and share a beer(ssssssss) with you. BTW, I'm not as mean as I look and usually not quite as grumpy as I sound

Oh yeah, will try to hit up the Beer Advocate Does Denver depending on how I feel. Would really like to do this for at least a few beers.

 

I need one, we are flying from Houston Thursday morning and we are short one ticket for that night. Its our very first GABF and are very excited even though only one of us managed to get a ticket online before they sold out. Will you be around the Colorado Convention Center on thursday? We are planning to attend the Evvil Twin Tap Takeover that morning.

 

I'll pm you. I'm in Austin and can actually transfer it via ticketmaster beforehand. I'll be going Thursday evening too but it's difficult to find people sometimes in that big of a crowd.

World of Beer LoDo. The lineup seems really good and it starts at 11am.

 

Definitely doing that Evil Twin takeover before going in for the Thursday session.

 

My better half and I will be in town starting Tuesday. Figured the easiest way to enjoy ourselves and make new friends would be with liquid courage. As such we just packed a ddg b2, velvet speedway, rum mp w cocoa and coconut, and a couple barrelworks bottles. I like pre gaming.

 

Well I had 'planned' on visiting like 25 breweries but being realistic I doubt that will happen. Anyways, I'll be in town Wednesday morning to Saturday morning. So far I'm going to GABF sessions on Thursday and Friday. Firkin 50 at Epic on Thursday and Rockies vs Pirates game at Coors Field on Thursday afternoon. Staying out in DTC area at the Doubletree.

 

Sounds like quite the itinerary, would be interested to hear how everything went when it's all over.

ETA: looks like you are taking light rail to/from GABF?

 

Looks like I'll be hitting up Trve at 3 and probably Falling Rock around 5 if anyone's around. Wearing shorts and a Slayer shirt today.

 

Yeah I will definitely be using the light rail and uber while in town.

 

Anyone do any bottle shares at the Hyatt? I'm trying to decide whether or not to bring some beers with. Sam Adams is footing the bill for me since I'm a Longshot finalist, but doubt I'll venture too far away since I can attend every session of gabf.

 

I have been looking for a bottle share either thursday or friday around noon since I fly back friday evening. If I find one I will take a JK Atrial to share so far no luck. If you are staying near the Convention Center we could start one

 

First time for me. A buddy dumped free tics in my lap kinda last minute. Haven't had much of a chance to plan a whole lot. Will be in Town Fri-Sun handling each day on the fly and attending GABF on Sat eve. I'll be the middle aged dude in the black FiftyFifty shirt. Please say hello.

 

If you are looking for a share ill be hosting one at my place in Lower Downtown Friday at noonish. BBQ and bottle opening. I live across the street from the Rockies stadium at The Casey and the Rockies stadium will be doing a firework show that night as well. So far its about 8-10 good friends. Wouldn't mind a few new faces. Just PM me.

Some of the highlights we have- '14 Port Brandy DL, tons of Rare Barrel, FO, VO15, firestone anniversary vert, DL's, degarde, old Avery's, Velvet, Other Speedways, Old Crooked Stave's, BA Ten Fidy Crowler, Growlers of local stuff, and that's just stuff off the top of my head from me and my buddy and not all the big beers.

Also ill be volunteering with my wife at WTF! I'll see some of you there!
