Can anyone tell me more about this years brewing of Krunkin Pumpkin? Karbach website is fairly nondescript.

ABV? IBU? Reading some reviews it looks like people were expecting Belgian yeast character?

My first time having this and I really like it, especially with the cooler weather:wink:.

I guess I could contact the brewery but I thought this post would be more expedient.

I grabbed a 4 pack yesterday so I just checked the can. Didn't see any info there, so I'm no help. I did have 1 last night and it was tastey, a little thin but solid.

Untappd says 8.5%; no mention of IBU.

Krunkin Pumpkin is 8.5% ABV with 30 IBU. The very first batch we made was fermented with Belgian yeast, but the last two years we have used a lager yeast to clean it up and let the pumpkin and spices take more of the center stage. By the way, we're working on a new website so we can get better information!

graham515, thanks for the info. On the website I noticed that there are 3 new seasonal beers coming next year. Any chance that we might get a hint of what's coming?

Pretty sure one of the specialty seasonal will be Three Legged Lab. I am curious to see if the second specialty will be Hellfighter Double Porter.

Sorry for the slow reply...Three Legged Lab is definitely going to be a 4 pk can in Jan/Feb 2016. The other two you'll find out more shortly once we've got label approvals.
