Hi all. I have been admiring tree house from afar for a while and I will be taking my first trip up there Thursday. Might be a weird question but I was wondering if there are any good food recommendations close to the brewery?

    Sturbridge:
BT's Smokehouse, your best option. BYOB. The only BBQ I eat in the north east.
    Enrico's, pizza
    Kaizen, sushi
    Cedar Street Grill, American fare

    Worcester:
Armsby Abbey: burger, mac and cheese, bone marrow, Hill Farmstead and Oxbow on tap.

    Tolland, CT:
    Camille's Wood Fire Pizza

Jay, you should give Bear's a look in Hartford if you're ever in the area. Not BYOB which lowers it a bit, but the food is amazing (I'm picky on BBQ)

Is that Kaizen worth it? I love their Graffiti-esq logo but I can't bring myself to stop so close to BT's

Not to get too off topic here, but about Bear's BBQ - Hartford stopped the BYOB (it used to be I think). Does anyone know if the Windsor location is BYOB anymore (I know for a fact the Windsor location used to be BYOB)? Also I hear a South Windsor location is opening up.

The Windsor location also now serves beer so it is no longer BYOB. Lots of CT Craft Beer and awesome BBQ

Took the ride out with the wife on Saturday. Not a bad wait and I tell you I love Julius, having it for the first time. Finally sprung for a growler, which was not bad for $6 and now I can add it to my unwanted collection. Will be back.

It is VERY worth it. Great service and I believe we had a really solid dinner special which ended up being a good price as well. If only BYOB sushi was a thing...

Total thread hijack at this point, but I feel it warrants it. Yesterday Bears had Smoked CORNED BEEF.

    OK I'm done.

I highly recommend Kaizen. They have quite strong cocktails so be aware, but a lot of different sushi options, with my favorites being the Red Sox Roll and the Sexy Roll.

Just tried Haze for the first time on Monday night, canned 9/16. Traded for it since I don't go to TH often since it's a bit far out for me. It was absolutely fantastic. First thing that came to mind was that it tasted like a Heady/Julius combo. Tree House is fast becoming my favorite brewery outside of CT.

Just stocked up! The whole side wall is full of Julius cans and the printed up Green cans. The Greens cans look awesome! Can't wait for the next run of Green.
