Is there release date information anywhere? After talking with Jeremy Kosmicki at the Better Half release, he told us the next beer is not a barrel-aged beer, so I would think that it wouldn't take as long. Sorry those thinking it would be Black Biscuit or Cashew Mountain Brown. Any info would be great! Thanks everyone.

From what I heard from one of the guys at the brewery the next release isn't until July.

Hopefully it takes awhile, all of these releases are getting expensive. And Founders has said they won't bottle Cashew Mountain Brown. It's too expensive.

The Backstage Series only consists of beer that's previously been on-tap only or stuff that hasn't been bottled in a long time. Devil Dancer is totally separate.

Disappointing that we aren't seeing another barrel aged offering. I'm struggling to think of what they might release actually.

At this point all the popular, previously tap only offerings that are left (and I can recall) are barrel aged. I would not be upset to see them re-release Black Rye in some form but is 750 the best format for that?

Maybe he just meant that it wasn't bourbon barreled. Syrup del noche?

I would love to see Black Biscuit, that has been one of my favorite on tap offerings

Calling it now, it'll just be a bottle of bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup with the name "ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?"

I am going to take an educated guess, it is going to be a beer for their 15th anniversary. Possibly a new batch of Deca, or another barleywine recipe.

I was kind of thinking barleywine too. I hope they bottle Nemesis again but with the moniker 'Schemesis.' :grinning:

Nemesis was the first thing that came to mind for me, which would be amazing. And if what aasher said about Cashew Mountain is true, color me sadface.

    Right.

    2009 - Wheatwine (Barrel-aged?)

    2010 - Barleywine

For no particular reason, I'm thinking (or subconsciously want) another barleywine from the fine folks at Founders.

Charge more for it, then they can make a profit.
