    Wow that's some hard hitting content right there. You sure did go to the beerfest and drink beers from breweries.

    I actually write a beer blog so I get what he is trying to do but...that was completely unfocused and lacked any type of real content that would be useful to the reader. He basically went somewhere, did some stuff, and then told you he did that stuff.

    Just a suggestion if you're trying to write beer content, maybe talk about the event and then pick your top 5 beers of the day and write about them. Give the reader something they can actually learn instead of I drank beer from these places and it was good.

    Nothing wrong with the dude writing/blogging/reviewing his experience at a brewfest. He's just getting the word out about his experience. I'll write about my road trip to ABC, KRBC, RRBC or to wherever. Maybe one or 2 of those who read it will tackle the experience too. The Brew Ha Ha was my 2nd beer fest beside the SoCal Homebrew Fest. Don't really care to pay the $$'s for something I can drink everyday. Only reason I went this time because I was invited.

    I don't think anyone minds him blogging about his experience, but it was more so the drought of content in the post.

    Bingo! I think the vast majority of users on her would appreciate a solid review of the event and the best beers. It was just he didn't deliver that.

    I know a lot of us may have come across rude but the bottom line is if he wants to learn how to write about beer, he needs to hear the feedback...both good and bad.

    i don't think he mentioned that he wanted to learn how to write about beer, but that's nice that a guru such as yourself is offering to help

    At least I'm not in trying to bash the guy. If he took the time to write out this long response then he should at least give some constructive feedback on it.
