    Hair of the Dog makes some really unique beers. The fact that they are so low carbonation always throws me a bit, but they are tasty.

    Good morning Bas! Another successful morning picking up fallen apples and dodging yellowjackets! It looks like another two cool mornings and I'll be caught up with what fell while I was in TX and elsewhere. My son watered the plants and garden, mowed the lawn, and fed the reptiles, all while working two jobs, so I really can't be upset that he didn't pick up apples too. I keep threatening to cut the apple trees down, but somehow I never get around to it. Oh well. Todays's breakfast beer is:

    I'm not a fan of nut-based brown ales, but I've got to say I'm really liking this.

    First test bottle of my homebrewed Vanilla, Oak, Bourbon Honey Porter.

    I've gotta say, this bad boy came in boozier than I thought but I can't wait to drink this bad boy around Christmas time....if it makes it that far!
