Watched this website for about a year waiting for cantillon to drop. Emailed the guy and everything about shipping costs, ect. Today it blew up. I had a cart full of Iris, st lam, grand cru, gueze, kriek and the one with the naked lady....pumped! Till checkout when shipping to Ohio was clearly not an option. Belgianbeerz.com owes me some money for all the ad revenue I added!

Pain-in-the-ass work day couldn't end soon enough. Finally did and got my handshake tic from @blackcloud (@XmnwildX12 log that please) & share a few beers before sending him off to Indy, had a beer on the train ride home, then get home to an absolutely fuckin killer box from @Jas45678 's LIF that I somehow won (yes, FIBS CAN win shit!)! I mean, seriously, look at this Fuckin thing:

• 1st 2 I assume are home brews (Black Razberry & no label) - gotta tell me what these are (already in the fridge)
• Griffin Claw - Undertow & Apridisiac (don't worry @blue-dream I'll share)
• Short's Island Chomper Fruit Punch DIPA - sounds absolutely AWESOME and can't wait to try it!
• Witch's Hat Dragontrax - 6 to midnight
  
• Griffin Claw Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Imperial Stout - wife already claimed this one...but she said she'd share
• Perrin NO RULES Bourbon Barrel Aged Vietnamese Porter - Not sure if I'm more excited to drink the beer or hang out with Walter

Jason, I honestly can't thank you enough. You absolutely went above and beyond on this box. You won't know where, you won't know when, but somehow i will get you back!

And in true SWTFYW fashion, i will be coming up with a LIF soon to pay it forward as well. Just need to think of the details.

Ohio did well at GABF! Very proud of Fat Heads and especially Brew Kettle and my precious White Rajah pulling a medal. Pretty cool stuff.

I haven't seen any updates in a while from the people who were trying to lose some weight, hopefully it's still going well. I'm going to take a moment to pat myself on the back. Back around the beginning of the summer, our 20+ year old scale took a crap. I never used it that much, but when we got a new fancy digital one, I stepped on it and said "this thing can't be right". 199.8 pounds. Unfortunately, it was as it matched the one in my doctors office when I got a physical. A lot of bike riding and reasonably healthy eating later, I am happy to report that I am currently at 179.6! Done without serious impact to my beer drinking, either.
Off to watch football, eat wings and other crap, drink beer and put a few pounds back on!

If you don't have Alewerks Pumpkin I need to send some up. When I did a blind tasting, Alewerks was 2nd only to the Otter Creek Pumpkin I had. Schafly was 3rd I remember.

 

For all you non Slackers, Surprise LIF time! I am currently at the Answer Brewpub in Richmond VA. I am driving to Roanoke VA for a business trip, and I am stopping at one brewery on my way there. It's a bit out of the way on my trip though. What time am I getting in to my hotel tonight? Price is Right rules in effect. Open until I close it, which is sometime after I get to my hotel.
