It was great getting to tick so many #handshakewhalez & the beer wasn't too shabby either

 

Wow, my porch was decimated today. One box weighing at least 60 lbs, if not more; surprised the FedEx freight truck didn't drop it off. I underestimated how heavy it was and almost threw my back. Thank you so much @mbmiche I am blown away and ecstatic to try all these new brews, most of which I haven't heard of.



The 750 mLs, all amazing, haven't had a single one. So excited about the Bramble Berry! And the Side Project collab will be my first experience with them.



The Bombers, again almost all beers I haven't had before. The volume 3 sounds delicious.



The cans & 12 ozers, a few perma-wants, and even more interesting IL local brews.

Think the grand total was ~515 oz if my math is correct...

@mbmiche I could go on and on about this box, this was ridiculously well-packed. I'm glad my girlfriend wasn't home during the unpacking of this box or she would've been pissed. Unfortunately I won't get to try any of the brews until next Friday as I'm working 7 nights in a row, but it sure does give me something to look forward to.

Glad everything made it safely! I stalked Untappd for a while to try to hit mostly "never hads" and it sounds like I was successful. That Radiolara is a JK/Off Color collab--Local to me and you (but only released in IL--I think), so I thought that would make a nice addition! The Over the Line is the BA version of Hey Careful Man..., so I thought that might make a nice little side-by-side too! Enjoy!

 

Well, since my birthday, anniversary, and first child's birthday have all been taken or would all be PIR guesses by a single day, I'll go with another important date 11/16/2015. Better get packing!

 

Awesome box @mbmiche, your sender (who has not been confirmed) should have sent more beer! Box may (or may not) arrive tomorrow.

 

My early warning bomb detection system seems to indicate an incoming package from a Western location... and, at least according to the early warning system, the munition is anything but small...

Evasive action has been taken. The family will be relocated several towns over for a birthday party with bouncy houses and swim noodles, and I will be taking the wife out for a very expensive dinner tomorrow night to soften the blow...

Still will have a second box to go out, just been busy as eff lately. You typed Dissident but I believe that's the Gratitude from East End. I think it is a want of yours. Damn those Inatgible bottles. I had one pop the cork in my car on the way home from a release a few months back. Sorry about that one Kyle. Enjoy bud!

Well you did a superb job! Excellent untappd stalking.

 

Sooo.. in a 15 minute period this afternoon I had Utopias, Prop, BA Snowed In, and Cable Car. All were new to me other than Utopias (which shows up at this event pretty frequently). I think BA Snowed In was possibly my first Funky Buddha (or if it wasn't, I've only had one or two). Fairly certain it was my favorite beer of the day.

As a LIF update, I'm up to 142 beers for the weekend so far. @vitaminvert, if you're going to tackle me before getting to 150, you're going to need to find me early tomorrow!

For you Texas guys, spent the last couple hours on the Austin Beerliner. Beerliner is a highlight every year, though this year might be jumping the shark unfortunately... though it was interesting chilling out with the Alstrom brothers this afternoon on the Beerliner...
