Cycle/ccb bottle releases

    Well I travel to St Pete around once a month and I think this could benefit everyone in the area. This is just talking about releases and such in the area. Does anyone know when cigar city is doing a release, last time I was there they had the year rounds and cider. Usually the cooler has 2-3 bottles in it.

    It's worth noting that we are into the last few days of September and neither Cubano Espresso nor Caffe Americano have appeared. Also, did I miss it or did they never release 6packs of Oktoberfest last month?

    I've noticed they release stuff when they feel like it. That schedule isn't a leash accurate

    Oktoberfest came and went. They decided not can it this year. Not sure what the reason was, but it was draught only.

    They had a number of releases over the summer and it's gone quiet since then.

    I know the bottling line at CCB was taken apart to do some construction, this could be the cause for some delays.

    They just released details for the October Eggs & Kegs (10/18) and Caffe Americano is going to be on draft for the event so I guess that is a good sign that they at least have brewed some more for the Fall

    It is Rare Dos that is "extra barrel aged" in "lot barrels"

    Why? Goose Island is charging $60 for a 16.9oz bottle of bourbon county because it aged for longer in a more rare barrel. Longer barrel aging results in more lose due to evaporation and therefore less product per barrel
