CANBIF Fall 2015: Hints & Hauls

My target is new to BA but definitely not to craft beer. Looking forward to raiding my cellar and some local breweries!!

I now use BA more for reference & locational finds than beer "checking". Untappd name Nrman will show the ~3000 beers tried in the last ~3 years. I'd be a fan of anything new and/or good and/or beery. Love hops and love porters/stouts, although any lambic / barrel aged sour / geuze would be great to try but would likely be wasted on me ;-)

Can't wait for the lists of awesomeness and vicarious beer living to begin!

 

If you like hops, you might be happy, this is not a trick. Hopefully they stay fresh so you don't howl like a pack of wolves, that would be jux wild.

 

Box packed and out tomorrow! Stacked with various stouts and big IPA's plus something special! Hope my target enjoys.

Definitely hard work this time. Taking a few days off this week to go get a few bottles. Also secured a trade for a few more. It is coming together.

Hint #5: My box is going to a religious place.

 

1) A box will be heading east
2) My target has had many, many beers. This is going to be tough, but I got some plans.
3) Target province is largely uninhabited, save for a fer large cites. I've only ever been to the empty parts.

Box is half packed already. I've got to grab a couple more things to round out the local part. I'm 99% I can send a box full of unticked beer. Should be going out on the 5th

 

Hint: My first box is on its way. This 30 pounders is heading west to a cement porch that looks pretty indestructible.

I'm not gonna give you another hint because you already know who you are, but I will let you know I'm shipping out today. Bit of a monster of a box to be honest. Had to buy a dolly.

 

I got Wednesday and Thursday off work to go and get some bottles for my target (Priorities!). Finding unticked beers has been a challenge. I've managed to cull 4 or 5 from the deep recesses of my cellar. An Ip trade just completed and a by-mail trade in process mean that my box will likely go out on the last day of the shpping window. I hope the wait will be worth it...

 

Scheduled to arrive Oct. 6th!

If my sender's box lands next week, I may be delayed to post pics, as I'll be away until Sunday night.

 

Second box is on its way. Hint: Train delivery would make more sense for this one.

 

Got my box shipped out earlier today; 1 beer from California, 1 from Quebec (We'll call that hint #3), 2 from Oregon, and 8 from BC. Scheduled delivery is Oct 7th but I trust Canada Post can shave a few days off of that.
