Morning BA's, Back after a few days hiatus with a new one for me. Boreale Doree or "golden". This is a 4.8 percent honey ale. In all honesty its very sweet and aside from honey the only taste i really get is Cereal malts. I'd be more than happy if my friend gave me one at a bbq but I wont be buying it again. Cheers[IMG]

Sorry, this was from last night. But I really enjoyed this brew from Tree House.

Good morning BAs! Another rainy day here in NW PA, not that that stops the yellowjackets from working on my apples or me from picking them up - 77 into the garden this morning plus one for me. Today's brew on NBT is something light since I'm going to visit my doc - flu shot. A nice Berlinerweisse with an odd smokey/sour odor that tastes pretty good:

Carpe diem (plus whatever the Latin phrase is for "...and kick it in the teeth")! Edmund Fitzgerald infused with coffee, vanilla, and bourbon-soaked oak chips. Bring it on!

Happy Tuesday morning BA's! Last day of our anniversary vacation, got back from Colorado last night and took today off for mental health, and to make this post which is gonna be a doooozy... let's start, my loving wife bought us tix to GABF and it was well worth it...

first were a couple hotel beers after the 8+ hour drive on Thursday
    [IMG] [IMG]

next day we went bottle shopping and after a stop at Grapevine Wine and Liquors needed to search no more, absolutely the best selection and service and spent all the budget, then that night went to a Rockies game were they beat the Dodgers, saw 4 home runs including back to back shots
    [IMG]

next stop was across the street to Breckenridge
    [IMG]
    Oskar Blues Death By Coconut

    Breckenridge Whiskey Barrel Aged Holidale

...next day was the fest, was too busy scattering for drinks for many pics
    [IMG]
    waiting to get in

only pic I took inside, the 10.7 tasted like carbonated schnapps, very tasty just not really beer

beer list I had included Vanilla Rye, Melange No.10, Tweak, Big Bad Baptist, Firestone XVIII, Grey Monday, Black Tuesday, Stand Down Brown (had to have one from a local Billings brewery Uberbrew), Sunday Morning Stout, Ivan The Terrible, Tart Of Darkness, Fayston Maple Imperial Stout, Your Father Smelt of Elderberries, Backwoods Bastard, Freckle, Jubel and 4Beans, a couple more but can't remember and Untappd was on the fritz lol but my show favorite had to be Kane A Night to end all Dawns, with no line went back for that one at least 5 times

after the fest took what ended up being a very expensive bike taxi to Epic Brewing to have Baptist at the source (bought the glass I drank out of and a t-shirt too)

last day of the trip went to Boulder for shopping and a trip to Avery
    [IMG]
found a street carnival there and after a long hot day on the street went with sours that night

A simple decent amber ale. New beer for me. Better is that it's cheap. :grinning:
