Be it a new-comer, or an old "infected" companion. I apologize if this a repeated thread(what isn't these days?)

Tonight, somewhere within the bowels of my kitchen sinks' pipeline, Saga (Summit) found its fate. It is the latest of many IPAs to have "drown" in my quest to invite said style into my palate party.. But IPA's have a funny way of never bringing thier ID's. I wish I could like them.. But for fu*ks sake..

So, BA'ers, which is the latest brew to have found its way into your sink?

Two hours ago. Bent Brewstillery's Uber Lupin Schwarz IPA. As far as I can recall, it's my first outright drain-pour. Horrible beyond words. Two subsequent beers have failed to cleanse my palate. In between, I even tried straight hot sauce and a spoonful of mustard. Can't shake it.

    It's the stuff of nightmares.

Ghost Face Killah, I did not even take a sip just the aroma did it for me. I love beers that have a pepper and spicy influence but you could tell just by the aroma all they did was throw in as many hot peppers as possible with no thoughts of balance, I have dealt with pepper spray multiple times and just the aroma reminded me of what it was like to get sprayed in your mouth (not a fun experience in case you were wondering )

    only have 3 drainpours:

stone quadrowhatever: drank over half of it and eventually just dumped it to move on to something else. worst "quad" i've ever had by a huge margin.

rum barrel pumking: again drank half of this but a very bad beer

fegley's arctic alchemy: drank maybe 6 oz and everything after the first sip was to convince myself i wasn't imagining things. the absolute worst beer i have ever had and 19.99 a bomber from a local brewery, please never buy this dogshit excuse for a beverage.

BFM Cuvée Alex Le Rouge (Jurassian Imperial Stout) http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2958/40678/

Both were horrible, infected and undrinkable. $11 for a 11.2 fl oz bottle. I was pretty pissed. Was even more pissed when I got a response from BFM. "Sorry you didn't enjoy our sour beers. Make sure not to buy them in the future." :astonished::confused: Those are not suppose to be sour. And even if they were, I know the difference between a sour beer and an infected beer. I also messaged Terrapin, since the first beer is a collaboration. They offered me a t-shirt! I turned it down. Why would I advertise for them AND all of the t-shirts are ugly. So, I asked for their coffee mug. They said that they're not able to send that to me. So yeah, I won't be buying any beers by BFM or Terrapin.

Atwater's Michelada. Tastes like rotten pickles and morning breath. Worst beverage I've ever had

The brewery called them "sour" and you think they are not supposed to be? Wouldn't the brewery know what they are supposed to be? They downplay the sour notes on the stout description but call their barley wine straight up sour. Terrapin didn't even produce this beer but they were nice enough to offer you a shirt... but you really wanted a mug, so now you're done with them?

Aguamala's Mako, an APA w/ grapefruit. They went over the top with the fruit. Drank 6oz from a single 12oz bottle and threw away the rest.

That is the only beer I recall drain pouring because of taste, Ive poured others beers because they were either extremely old or infected.

Two North Coast Grand Cru's - bought 4, tasted good but different (more acidic) then the last one I had, woke up two nights in a row with horrendous heartburn/stomach acid issues. The other 2 had to be poured out...$20 gone

IDK, but, the infected 2013 White Chocolate was better than the GF beer. Absolutely horrible smell and taste.

Only ever drainpoured two beers in my short two years of drinking beer. One of my early discoveries was Sam Adams Imperial White (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/47317/) and having minimal experience with beers with so much flavor and an affinity for sweet things, it was love at first sip. Grabbed it every week until I started venturing out more. Mostly forgot about til maybe a year or so later when I'd had plenty of beers. Got it again and was so ready to relive my early craft days. Nope! Straight sugar and strong booze. Every sip had me gagging. Wanted to finish it, but I had no choice.

Second one was more recent, Craft Brewing Co. Raven (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22937/73371/). The generic name and beer shoulda been a warning, but I got it from an all organic store, so was eager to try it. Aroma was typical stout, maybe a little vanilla. But the taste... blegh! Soy sauce with weird artificial tasting vanilla and a thin body. Another one that I felt I had to fight to keep down. Wasn't worth the torture, so down the drain it went.

Cellar 3 Silva Stout had a huge problem with infections. A lot of people got bad bottles. Try contacting GF. I had heard that they were trying to make amends at some point.

Pumking, Xingu and Back in Black. I'm sure they are fine beers within their styles but I guess I can't handle these styles very well.

The new Ballentine IPA. Bought a can because this site was all abuzz over it. Maybe I got a leftover can from when it was last made, rather than part of the new batch. Tasted nothing like an IPA.
