    What are some other really good, popular Michigan breweries? I did a Google search, but I want to know what you fellow BAers think.

    Dark Horse, Wolverine State Brewing, Jolly Pumpkin, Kuenhenn, Shorts, The Livery, it is truly the great beer state.

    Original Gravity, if you can find it on tap.

    Witches Hat in South Lyon has limited distribution on tap, but makes some beers I have liked.

    Brewpubs (can't distribute) Bastone, Big Rock and Redwood Lodge. These 3 have won a lot of medals at GABF and WBC.

    I just did a brewery tour in Mid MI area...Brewery Vivant was incredible.

    Oak aged farm hand was so good. I loved the natural sour characteristic from the barrel aging.

    I would also include Dragonmead Brewery as well. They put out a decent selection of very good beer as well.

    Neither. It's Bad Bear Brewing along with Sleeping Bear Winery. I agree that they make some very good beers there.

    I'll chime in for Raymo since he's somewhere else it seems. Walldorff is a brewery that stays under the radar. Great beers and food too.

    Thanks MG! A must stop while hitting up the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and Marshall breweries!
