    The event is coming up on March 17 - does anyone have any information as to what will be available?

    The list of breweries announced is impressive: Bull Dog Brewery, Flossmoor Station, Finch's Brewing Co., Goose Island Beer Co., Goose Island Clybourn, Goose Island Wrigleyville, Greenbush Brewing Co., Half Acre Beer Company, Haymarket Pub & Brewing, Limestone Brewing Co., Lunar Brewing Co., Moonshine Brewing Co., Piece Brewery, Pipeworks Brewing Co., Revolution Brewing, The Lucky Monk, The Onion Pub & Brewery, Three Floyds Brewing Co., Two Brothers Brewing Co., Rock Bottom Chicago, Rock Bottom Warrenville, Rock Bottom Yorktown, & more TBD.

    They generally don't post information prior to the event. Find a lot of stuff out day of if I remember correctly.

    P.S. if anyone has an extra ticket, I got a buddy looking for it.

    Keep an eye out on Craigslist. I have seen a couple tickets for sale/trade popup there. Tough to really trust someone without physical tickets though.

    Only beer I know for a fact will be appearing is Dosdivanya (sp?) from Destihl. Highly underrated, hope they are serving it on nitro as it really shines when they serve it that way.

    It will be a great event regardless, just for the love of God get your sample and walk away from the folks pouring beers so everyone behind you can get a pour. Its the bane of beer festivals, don't crowd the tables, especially if your with a group of friends chatting.

    Dosdivanya was fantastic at FoBAB. Also, the table crowding can be terrible. It's a small room, grab your pours and move on. Michigan Winter Beer fest was terrible for that, because it was so cold people didn't want to leave the tents! Constantly asking people if they were in line only to be chuckled at!

    It's only Monday but I woke up excited for this year's Stoutfest today.

    Should be good.. this beer sounds epic.

    And this festival always has some surprises.

    For those interested / attending: Goose Island is tweeting hints for what they will have at Stout Fest - the first picture was a hint for Ghost Pepper BCBS, which was at FoBAB, and was awesome.
