Double Dose!!

It landed at Hops N Barley in Woodstock VT. today 15.99 @ 4 pack. Picked up my 2- 4packs while I was there and a bunch of other good stuff! Cases were dated 9/19/15

 

Loving this year's batch: Aromatics are there with a super lovely after bite.

 

Tastes more or less the same as last year, which is pretty good, but with all the quality beers readily available in and around Boston there is no way I'd spend another 19 dollars on a 4 pack of this. Total fuckjob pricing. They should figure out a way to produce this year round at a reasonable price instead of that crappy Backseat Berner.

 

Julio's got theirs yesterday. Called last night and the guy said they have "plenty".

 

Anyone know if they used local, donated hops in the first one?

Grabbed the last 4-pack at kingstown liquors in NK today. I heard they had some last week and ran out, so today's was possibly from a 2nd shipment...if not maybe a leftover from the original shipment? $16.99

 

1 left at Blamchard's Allston. $17.99. Case and a half left at Brookline Liquor Mart, limit 2 4 packs per person. $17

 

Good score. I got an email from my local near work that it was first come first serve but unfortunately can't get there before tomorrow evening so no chance of getting some. That's fine I grabbed 2 six pack tallboys of the new Gansett Allie's Porter at Haxton's Bald Hill (but no DD on the shelf there). Ironically close to the same price as DD ($8.49 x 2 = $16.98).

 

Haven't seen it on Cape yet, but the Plymouth stores got theirs today.

 

Yeah I'm surprised they didn't have any at Martignetti's. I stopped there as well. Walsh's definitely had some last year. It did seem like they had a lot at BLM. Blanchards might have some more in the back. It looked like they had just put 4 four packs out on new arrivals shelf. Probably have some more elsewhere. Might also be worth checking the little liquor store on the corner of Harvard and Comm near where Kelly's used to be. They get some pretty decent stuff from time to time. Good luck!

 

Grabbed 2 at $5 a piece at VIN BIN in Marlborough. All of their locations have it, with a 2 bottle limit.

$4 a bottle would have made me feel a little better but at least I get to give it a shot. I had to remind myself that I paid $12 for a 22oz Harpoon IPA at Gillette last weekend so it made me feel better about spending $10 for 24 ounces of this.
