    Good morning BAs! Another typical fall festival day here in NW PA - cloudy, cold, threatening to rain. Apple season must be over - just picked up 10 this morning and didn't see any yellowjackets in the yard. Today's beer is from 5 Stones in Cibolo, TX, just down the road from my brother's place. I ended up pouring this into an additional shaker because of the size and longevity of the head - I want to drink it before noon!

    Interesting combination of malt and lemon flavors and aromas.

    Good morning! We have been on the road sight seeing the last three days. Happy to relax and revisit this beer - "Nerissimo" by Garage Project, Wellington, NZ, a Truffle & Porcini Porter:

    Spicy earthy meaty nose. Grilled beef and a little smoky. Sautéed mushrooms in a little soy sauce. Sounds weird, but I'm getting umami here, and I like!

    Wifi is mostly in down mode here; I'll try again later with some new beer finds/photos. Cheers and have a great Thursday!

    very nice, passed on trying Pliny at GABF, went for big dark beers with the time allotted and the line for it was ridiculous right away so I had Vanilla Rye like three times to start the show lol
