Hint #1: Both singles were released in the 1990s.
Hint #2: No one has guessed either of the songs yet. One song is R&B and one is not.
Hint #3: Someone guessed the R&B song once and the artist was guessed twice.
Hint #4: The R&B song was not guessed again in the latest round of guesses (but the correct artist was). Here is an anagram converted to numbers (1=A, 2=B,3=C, etc.) of the second song (three words): 11-5-8-1-4-5-12-12-9-15-8-1-5

Now my wife is capable of many things but I know she had help making this happen, no one seems to want to fess up to being her accomplice in this....

Good point, she's met a certain local on more than one occasion though so it's not a stretch. He's also the kind of person who has beer of this magnitude just lying around the house and wouldn't hesitate to give it away.
