Ha, for a minute there I had a fantasy of an arcade that served both kinds of Alpine in bottles to encourage a side by side. Like a craft beer version of the Footclan hangout in TMNJ.

It's pretty hilarious when you start seeing people in Virginia trying to trade GF Alpine they picked up locally for barrel-aged beers.

I wont argue that, ha. I popped a bottle of GF Duet last night and it was the most forgettable beer I think I've ever had. Ugh.

And those beers were shipped out there right? GF East isn't up and running yet. Correct?

A friend and I love Duet. We picked up bottles from Alpine 6, 5, and 3 months ago. It was not the same as we remembered. Have the alpine brewers been taste-tasting so much GF brewed Duet that they forgot what theirs tastes like?

Has anyone else noticed on the web-cam that all the IPAs and Hoppy Birthday are available again in bottles ? Are these the real deal or are theses GF bottles now ? Does anyone know ?

    Cheers…..

The day they sell GF bottles @ Alpine will be a sad day indeed.

That day has arrived. For now on, all Duet, HB, and Nelson will be the GF bottlings.

    Cheers…...

Well if Alpine is now going to be only selling GF beers is there much of a reason to go up there? I guess if they start producing Keene Idea, Bad Boy, Good, etc more often there is but otherwise not worth the trip.

Yes, even at the brewery its now all the new GF bottles moving forward except Pure Hoppiness. I'm hoping that the new batch of Nelson is as good as I've heard, hard to imagine not being able to drink Nelson on the regular. I think you'll see the 3 bottle limit go bye bye too at some point in the future.

    Cheers…...
