Pretty sure Princetons had some BA Narwhal recently.

Lake wine had Nein (12.99), black butte and some misc CS and hefewheaties yesterday.

Has anyone seen any castle danger cream ale - mpls or west metro?

 

doesnt Princetons normally have it? pretty sure ive seen it there. otherwise, maybe try the Haskells in Maple Grove.

 

Black Butte and Abyss Verticals were still at Heritage 30 minutes ago.

It was actually the Pale, but I at least got Nein and BB, plenty of each left as it was limit 1.

 

Elevated had at least three six-packs of Whiskey-Aged Arrogant Bastard as of an hour ago. Also BB Buffalo Sweat & the Tallgrass Big RICC. They also had the BA Ovila Dubbel from Sierra Nevada, which I've been watching for; but $20 for a cork & caged bottle. Ouch.

Blue Max was out of BB Sweat this afternoon & fetched a Black Butte XXVII outta the back.

 

Thanks a lot! I made the trek up there and got a 6 pack. I also picked up a 4 pack of Lakefront Imperial Pumpkin aged in Brandy Barrels.

I stopped at the Richfield store on 65th and Lyndale first. They didn't have Enjoy By but they had Barrel Aged Bigfoot and Black Butte XXVII on the shelf. I skipped those for the price.

Anyone have a lead on Noble Star beers in close-in Minneapolis or St. Paul? The only one I've seen recently is North Country Brunette at Lake and Minnetonka--I passed because it was $15.99 and I'm not super confident that one has aged well.

I'd also love to know if anyone has any idea when Apparent Horizon (the next in the series, with Rye) will hit stores. I had some at a beer dinner the other night, and it was phenomenal.

 

Apple Valley store 3 still has some in the series other than brunette. also saw surly black and pale at tournament liquors in blaine tonight among others.

 

The Nova still had a bunch of Pompei yesterday, no more Hopsmack, and the bottles of light speed (one I normally like a lot) are from July and have died off quite a bit from what I remember.
