Slightly delayed small bit of pr0n. @RuckIt offered a #pickitupformebro from the cellar sale at the shop (presumably) near him a bit over a week ago. Combined box for myself and @LehighAce06 dropped yesterday. Thanks again for offering this for those interested, Dave. Now I gotta get to Tired Hands so I can get Kevin his bottles...

I've got all pics taken from the 6 FUKIN boxes I got this weekend! 3 boxes from 2 Birthday BIF senders, 1 box from Nate teaching me how to use a 3 shipper, and 2 boxes from my Se7en sender who destroyed me. Will try to get pics up today, if not tomorrow when I get off work.

@Devman171 mentioned how he's done FO head to head with VR twice (more?) already and I mentioned how much I'd like to try FO as its a big want of mine. A few minutes later, there's a FO on the table. I couldn't let the opportunity to do them side-by-side go by the wayside.

Also thanks for bottles opened during the share: @wheelzntoys (you actually were the catalyst for the entire share), @treshojas @mbmiche @JasonR1975 and @valrxman amongst others I assume.

What was the verdict? For me it's VR, but FO is awesome. Haven't had a chance to do side by side yet.

 

I still prefer VR to FO but I will say that the vanilla flavor in FO is far less artificial than in the VR but what I love about VR is the marshmallowy sweetness which is just perfect in my opinion.

 

I'm team VR as well, not enough barrel in FO for me

 

Personally I preferred VR to FO, but it was very close. FO as a few others at the table said tasted more "natural" whereas VR tasted more artificial with the vanilla, but the overall complexity and level of balance in VR was just above that of FO

 

@Mikexw how about aerosmith?

 

I love them both, but you're right the vanilla in FO is way better but very little barrel character which the VR seems to have so much more.

 

This picture is why I love this group in a nutshell. My oldest son Grant is having spinal surgery on Wednesday, which were getting increasingly anxious for and I have mentioned to the group. I never wanted/needed anything for this, just talked about it as a way of getting some of the nervousness off my chest. Well I came home from vacation and there was an Amazon box on the doorstep. I am married so just figured my wife ordered some useless crap and set it in the den. Nate messaged me he sent a box for Grant, and low and behold it's this Lego set. My son is bananas over Legos, do this could not be any more perfect. A great gesture from Nate and it really made my wife and I smile a lot last night! Thanks @NJB145! Love me some Locals!
