Pardon the blurry pic (I had to move everything quick) but here is the awesome, awesome box I received from Kump today! Many, many thanks! I'm really itching to open something now!

should have the last of what I need to round out the box by the 7th + will be shipping that day. should be ~300oz, if all goes well, containing a lot of fresh hops & a few things with corks (and maybe some wax).

 

A big thank you to Electros for the super awesome beer haul I received today! Though I am sorry to say that 2 of the smaller ones didn't make it God rest their souls. But the the ones that did are outstanding! Really looking forward to trying these . Cheers!!

I'm speechless at the box that landed on my doorstep this afternoon. Didn't know what to expect but my "anonymous" sender has made me want to up my game...so will have to add some special and interesting things to my box which should go out early next week.

So excited to try new brews from Four Winds (probably my favourite Canadian brewery right now) along with some new IPA, DIPAs, sours and BA stouts. Once again thank you, and all the people in our tasting group should say thank you too!

I missed what I assume was an attempted delivery this afternoon. Unfortunately, the note says i have to wait until after 1 PM Monday to pick it up... My voyage to beervana (??) will have to wait a little while longer...

Hint: My target has yet to post in this thread. Judging by past CANBIFs, I'm working on the assumption that new ticks are the preference. Working...

 

The Blue Jays may have won the division but the Yellow Dogs will win your tastebuds.

 

Fiery1...will let things settle until tonight and decided how I feel after 6 hours at Beaus Oktoberfest will see what I need to crack open!

 

Box was delivered and target is happy with the content!

Mission accomplished.

 

Box is filled up and ready to get taped up. Hint... my target indeed liked my post, so is getting the bonus beer.

Hint as well... I added a shelf one that I freaking hate, and am really glad to see leave my house. You'll understand when you unpack, LOL. Sorry for passing on the annoyance and pain but I needed to pay it forward. LOL

I'll give a few clues... it fit between the styro holes and is very green.

 

According to the website, my box has landed and now has an expected delivery for tomorrow Monday Oct5th. Once it's delivered, we'll know for whom the Bell tolls!!

 

Taped up my box today, bagged all the beers after almost forgetting to do it before double boxing. Box will be out the door tomorrow!

 

As tough as it was, I was able to find stuff to fill a box with 100% new beers ( as of the second this was posted. with >50% local(ish) and cool stuff). No easy feat when someone has several times more reviews here than I have total check-ins on untappd. I can see how a BIF can get out of hand real fast. Box will be sent Tuesday afternoon.

And if my sender hasn't sent yet: I got used to IPA'a on stuff that was old, like really old. I actually don't mind how an IPA at a year or so is this weird bittersweet barleywine thing. Don't sweat i it. That being said fresh IPA's explode my brain in the best possible way.

 

Current box is ready-to-go as f*ck at about 75% hoppy IPAs to help battle that right f*ckin cold Atlantic air.

 

Well my box is all ready to go out tomorrow, 1/4 freshly hopped (including the hardest one to get), the rest barrel aged and cellared with a wild IPA jux for fun. I hope my target enjoys a mix of fresh hop BC beers and PNW favourites from the south, a want from IL and a beauty from NZ. It's a Hops & Barrel fest in a box.

 

I was able to leave the office early today and pick up the beer that has been waiting for me since Friday. My wife thinks I think about beer to much, but this week-end I couldn't argue with her!

Pelican Mother of All Storms 2014 (Barrel aged Barley wines are a favorite, can't wait).
DDC Solstice d'ete (Every time I order this at a local bar I'm told they just sold their last bottle yesterday. Thrilled to finally get one of these. It is going straight into the fridge).
