Significant BeerAdvocate Milestone?

    Not so much a milestone, but being able to share my thoughts on craft beer and its offerings on this page. As well as getting to know fellow BA's that enjoy the same thing as I do.

    So far it's been that I've logged 500 unique beers on this site. Eventually it'll be when I have 1,000 BA points and I'll be classified as a Poobah. Eventually....

    Years back I hated IPAs.. Hated them all day every day.. but.. Kept hearing about them on here non stop, so I kept trying them... but hated them.. Then I had a certain IPA.. Abrasive actually.. It was like drinking the dankest weed.. which I used to love. Anyways, all the sudden they just clicked for me.. Hard to put into words the enjoyment I have found since that moment!!

    No such thing. We are drinking beer and typing on the internet. Milestones are reserved for things that actually matter.

    When I become a Poobah. I am Champion now. And for the past, when I hit 1000 different beers. I am at about 1100 now and still going. What a great trip it has been. Also, meeting great people and my current bottle share pal

    When I first found this site and started using it as my goto site for information about specific beers and beer places back in the early 2000's.

    And then when I decided a few years ago to try to give back to a site that has given so much to those of us that enjoy great beer, by becoming an active participant in the site.

    Everything else is just the details.

    I thought 1,000 Beer Karma was going to be it when I joined. Then the Beer Karma went away, then it came back and I had much less karma than I once had. Oh well, the journey continues.

    1,000 beers logged and 6+ years on this site would be my biggest milestones.

    Next up will be becoming a poobah or ticking a beer from all 50 states
