May I ask why you are here then? South of Eleven did not look like gravy or taste like juice, either. Your education on the matter seems... Lacking.

This Betty account trolls in the Pipeworks thread as well. Doesn't contribute anything. Ignore him/her.

Good stuff....wish it came up to NE Ohio - have to drive to Columbus to visit my daughter more often to get my HH, Madtree and Rhinegeist fixes!

People take life too seriously if a name of a brewery turns them off that much. No one is forcing you to buy/drink it. Beer is supposed to be fun.

I missed the last South Canning and thought I missed out on the teku. They had at least 1 box of glasses left when I went to the Konkey canning though. I am a glass *****. My wife is probably going to leave me because of it.

The yeast comment is interesting. I had not heard that before, but I would definitely believe it. I find Blabe very similar to Heady, and I have had it a few times. If memory serves me correctly, Konkey is almost a spitting image of HF Society & Solitude #5. I will be be the first to admit that I prefer clean (think Ju Ju) style ipas over the "east coast" style, but they are still pretty damn tasty.

The staff and the vibe there is the best I have seen outside of Jackie O's. Very cool people. I love it when breweries don't take themselves too seriously. There are enough comsumers to take care of that:grinning:

Can I get cans anywhere between Hopkins Airport and Avon Lake? Will be as far south as Akron as well.
Coming in from Boston area work next Monday PM to Weds AM.
Any place that warrants a Tree House or Trilium esque following is doing something right!

Doubtful. Pretty sure they sold out of cans. A few places in Columbus have growlers to go.

Anyone going to the brewery this Saturday? Curious how busy it will be without a canning release for people to hoard. I would love to be there, but since we were just there Sunday I didn't want to make the just over 3hr round trip drive again so soon... I see they did some more renovations to the bar area for more sitting room... Always a good thing!

You're a 30 min drive to the Winking Lizard Crosswoods 33 Jackie O's tap takeover if that adds more of a reason to drive down that Saturday.

Had two different ones on tap at the Phoenix this past summer, Musk of the Minotaur and a Saison, I believe. They were tasty, but so are a lot of beers. Would I drink them again? Yeah. Having said that, I don't get the fanatic hype.

What is Hoof Hearteds distribution like? Does it make it to the Toledo area?

There is no distribution that I am aware of. Some stores will pick some up at the release for resale but it seems they come from the Dayton/Cinci area. I did find some 4 packs of Musk of the Minotaur in Lancaster last week as I drove through. Not sure how they got them though.

I do not believe they distribute to NW Ohio yet. Unfortunately, your best/closest option is Columbus or setting up a trade.
