    Great article.

The title might want to be changed to "The Ten Best Beers No One Is Talking About" or something similar.

Number 10, Sierra Nevada Pale, is the number one selling craft beer in the US.

Weihenstephaner Hefe, Schneider Aventinus, Peche Mortel, not being consumed? The least-ticked one of those beers on here still has over 4100 ticks!

Who isn't drinking these? The BMC crowd, and the "only IPAs and big stouts are beer" crowd?

Possibly the second. Lol. I also feel that reds are largely forgotten.

A list i can definitely agree with. Agree wholeheartedly about Aventinus. It is one of the great beers in the world. So unique, somewhat approachable and downright delicious.

Availability works against most of these beers. Or in some cases, price point.

Brooklyn lager was my go to a summer ago. Because i love yuengling, Brooklyn lager was a no brainer and it had more flavor. The only beer i bought a case of so far. I love all those flagships, boston lager is solid, SNPA is great. I usually go for the flagships if i hadnt had anything from a brewery first. But with the hype all in barrel aging, sours, ipas i can see why they are forgotten. Sad though. Not that theyre losing money , thry are bought and drank, its just nice to go back and talk about the appreciation there is for the iconic craft beers

Trust me, I haven't forgotten Curieux from Allagash. They just don't distribute to the PNW anymore...

I really wish that lists would shut up sometimes. Peche Mortel is already hard enough for me to find, and I don't enjoy the idea of a bunch of Esquire readers raiding them. Or Weinhenstephaner Hefe!

Aventinus? 'Dey don't know me very well, do 'dey?
You need to broaden your horizons, there are literal classics on that list.

I really hope this is sarcasm. Otherwise, it's just sad.

Several of my faves on there! I especially love Aventinus and Cuvee Van De Kaiser.
Only had Bon-Chien once, so I might have to revisit it at some point. AT $40 a bottle, there's probably a good reason it isn't talked about much, though. Deus doesn't get much press for the same reason.

To paraphrase Tom Waits, this dude must be reading my mail. The only one of those I don't buy is the super-expensive Saint bon Chien; the others are regulars in my shopping basket.

It also seems like I am not alone on this website, at least. Most of those seem to make regular appearances on the threads, so we seem to know where it's at. Maybe he wrote that for his buddies down at the bar .

Pretty spot on by Esquire. Wasn't expecting that as it's not a beer mag. Peche Mortel is one of my favorites.

Aventinus needs to be on my palate, like yesterday. It's honestly a beer that I've never seen around.
