Short's Bottle Release Schedule 2016

2 years in a row now without Publican Porter? This is beyond stupid, that's one of their best beers.

Bim Bam Boom should be interesting though. And I love that Twisted Cain is getting a 6pk seasonal release, that was the beer was great in the summer variety pack (or was it Fall?). And it'll be nice to see Black Cherry Porter bottle released.

 

And speaking of great brews I haven't seen in a minute, how about Pontius Road? Maybe there's hope for an appearance in a variety pack.

 

It's in the next variety pack. I had one out of a bottle last week and it's killer. I love the bottle. I'm really happy for Brian, getting his beer made by the company.
I loved the list, I think I paid more attention to what's new and I haven't had, more then what is not back or taken off. Remember, this list can and probably will change a little at some point.

 

Surprisingly, out of the 224 Short's beers I've had so far, there are still 7 that they are releasing that I have not had yet. I'm really looking forward to revisiting Swirl Stout & Bim Bam Boom. Of the 7 new beers to me, I'm looking forward to Snake Juice, Lil' Creepster, Ocho De Mayo & Mr. Fusion. It's a bit disappointing that Publican has been scratched for the 2nd year in a row, but variety is part of what makes Short's what it is. Should be another great year for us Michiganders!

 

I loved snake juice wen I had it in February and am stoked that they are bottling it this year. I am disappointed that their is no woodmaster as it is one of my favorites but that is still a pretty awesome list. I think it is cool that they are bottling so many of the beers from their 11th anniversary party bc the ones they are bottling were all pretty solid. My only remote complaint with Short's is that I would love to see their barrel aged beers get bottled and put into distribution.

 

Happy to see Cup a Joe (a staple) and Kind Ale (welcome back) on the list. I will be missing Snow Wheat this year, I guess. Also disappointed to see PGGB missing in 2016.

 

Don't know if anyone else has heard the Short's podcast, but they announced the winner for the people's choice release for 2016 is.....

Bummed Raisin Apollo didnt win....

 

I'm torn. I can't say Goodnight Bodacious isn't a great brew (pretty sure I gave it a 4.1 or higher, without looking it ), but I preferred that some of the others come out on top.

That i don't know, but I have a funny feeling you'll see it in some shape or form next year. That's a guess, I got to drink to remember the 2 conversations I had about this Saturday lol.

 

Hey, if there's a variety pack of the "losers," I'll be one happy guy.

 

Now that I know key lime pie is being bottled next year I am drinking one that I've saved from last time it was bottled back in June of 14, and it still taste great! Can't wait for a fresh batch!

 

They forgot to add the 2016 Private Stache release schedule in there. @HopHeadHerman maybe you could enlighten us?

 

Just noticed for those who are interested, Uncle Steve's has been added to the release schedule in February. With no Moher this year, it'll be nice to have a Short's Stout back on the list for St Paddy's
