I was under the impression some bottles made it out of the brewery

Rumor: Employees were able to buy a bottle, some employees have elected to sale or trade these bottles.

Which would mean what, potentially a dozen bottles each or Pappy and DC MC made it out of the brewery, tops?

That Grumpy Old Time at $30 is a steal. I can't believe no one jumped on that.

Wb charging that much money for a beer just made me quit buying their IPA forever

LOL. I am amazed by the butthurt. If they only charged $30-$40, Pappy would last about 2 weeks. There is like 1 barrel worth of it in existence. This will keep it available for longer. This is a basic business concept. Supply and demand. If the demand for Pappy at $115 a bottle isn't there, the bottles won't sell. In the end, that will force the business to reduce prices. If there is a demand, all the bottles will sell. I think it is funny that people wouldn't bat an eye at trading $150 of beer to get this beer, but the brewery picing it around $100 is just the worst thing in the world.

LMFAO......no more preaching about taking care of the locals - now it is all about supply and demand

People complain about Goose Island selling Rare for $60. Westbrook's pricing of BAMC makes that look like a steal.

It's supply and demand, sure. It's also just a dick move that makes people resent you.

I think that this is an awesome way to do it. If people will pay it, which they will, why wouldn't the brewery set the prices high? Bummed I won't get down there until the 30th, I doubt Pappy will last until then.
