Don't know if this has already been shared.

Talked to bartender at OH today, and boubon barrel aged bottled of Short Dark and Handsome will be release in the next "few weeks."

    Epic.

NY Comic Con kept me away this release. Might have affected a few other fellow nerds too.

What kind of bottle limits are you expecting?

No clue. I hear these bottles need more conditioning, so I haven't even heard of a release time line.

Feeling like this GD is kinda hot. Will revisit in a week or two. Doug is spectacular, it and Carton Epitome are the only Black IPAs I've had worth their weight (or price, or exclusivity. . . )

Yeah it was Wookey Jack that first turned me onto Black IPAs.

New GD is drinking perfectly for me. Slightly sweeter this time. So good.

came by to post the same. enjoying this batch of green diamons much more than the last batch of hop showers which seemed a little lacking compared to the last few batches of that.

Was there and can confirm that it was INSANELY crowded. The beers were fantastic though. Green is for G's could be my new favorite OH beer. Citra bomb. Loved it.

Blind Tiger is a great spot for casual drinks. Any type of event there, however, is a clusterfuck I gladly avoid.

I'm going to stop at Other Half for the first time Sunday afternoon on my way to Citi Field. Appreciate all the suggestions for the surrounding area, but are any a solid spot to catch some of the NFL games? If not, it'd be awesome if anyone could recommend a spot between OH and Flushing. On a related note, if time allows, which would be a better stop: SingleCut or Finback. Obviously that's subjective, but wondering if either place would have bottles/cans to go, which would be the tiebreaker most likely. Thanks.

Most of New York City's two largest boroughs are between OH and Flushing. Are you looking for a spot to watch football close to Citi Field or closer to Other Half? If the latter, Dram Shop up a few avenues from OH on 9th St. will have lots of football and a pretty decent beer selection, and Union Grounds further down Smith St. will have a lot of games on too.
