    Beer 3 from Maine Beer Company. They call it a dark ale, though I usually would think if it as a black IPA. Nice balance of roasted malt and citrus notes from the Citra. Enjoyable.

    Happy Columbus/team building day (@butters_mcgee)...

    Columbus Day isn't a cause for celebration by some accounts - lots of dark history behind one of our most famous explorers. Here's one grim telling of events, if you're so inclined... So, to balance the scales today, correctly navigate to a destination (like the beer fridge), and don't spread disease or enslave natives. Is it in you? Let's do it, BA!

    (last night): tried to gulp down a Crooked Stave "Surette" - an oak-aged saison (6.2%) - but it was simply uninteresting to me. Sour, almost cider-like. Probably had sat on a shelf a while in a store, but just not my style. So I cooked with it - went straight into a butternut squash soup (which was baller). Have a good day BAers...
