After a 9 year hiatus, Snake River brews again available in Utah.................... http://www.craftbeer.com/news/brewery-news/snake-river-brewing-now-in-utah
Nice. Been a long time SN fan. They pulled out of CO 6-7 years ago. Can't say I blame them. Utah will be better served.
I really Doug their brewery/taproom... Especially loved the Zonker Stout and the Jenny Lake Lager. Definitely wish it was available in Colorado!
Yeah and I noticed that both Snake River and Melvin are in Jackson and only Snake River distributes to Sheridan County. But both have better markets outside of Wyoming which I totally get but it bums me out the only way I am going to try Mevlin is traveling 5 and a half hours one way. A great trip yes but not practical at this time lol On the other side is Black Tooth which finish expansion but well not fully realize the potential until a few years of getting everything pegged and still awaiting other fermentors to occupy! So Black Tooth will be distributing very widely coming soon!
About fuckn' time it came back, and right after I leave, hahahaah Zonker Stout is a very nice brew. Cheers!
Article says it's available for "special order." If I understand right, that means I have to buy it by the case -- not six packs or a single bottle. On top of that, if you can probably order a can of this at the Beer Bar in SLC overpriced. Looks like it's nothing to get excited about. Utah sucks.
Good job Benish. Yeah, Special Order means just that. Hey utahcraft, I'll tell you a fuckn' secret about Utah, when I have the shit in my fuckn' hand, until then, it does not exist. UTAH FUCKN' SUCKS, FUCKN' HELL HOLE. Cheers!
We are brewing on a 3bbl system right now so it's really hard to keep beers on at the pub and send beer around the state. The 30 bbl will be brewing soon so we will be able to send beer out soon. Kirk McGirt
Good afternoon, Kirk! Thank you so much for the response. Where to begin in telling you how excited I have been for THREE years to try Melvin and YES you are WELL known even back home in New Jersey! "The Wyoming Pliny" they say about 2x4, and I can believe it! So I personally apologize for my excitement and I totally understand your model, the beer landscape in Wyoming and brewing on the 3BBL system.(Great friends and a beer consulate to Luminous here in Sheridan) I realized how different it would be here when I moved from the East Coast(originally from San Diego) but I am glad youse are here doing awesome stuff!
