I drink too quickly sometimes especially if the beer is good. It doesn't end well when I'm drinking really high ABV beers, but I'm trying to remedy that by pacing myself out a bit better.

I don't buy packaged beer if it's only 2 months or less from the expiration date.

    8 minutes and 37 seconds.

Are you seriously asking how long it should take you to finish a beer? There is no answer for that question.

I've tried this excuse with my wife. It doesn't work.

The need to buy everything that a great brewery puts out at the expense of other things in my budget.

Also, I drink very, very slowly. Bigger beers take me four hours plus.

Damn! That's me. I have a kegerator for homebrew in the garage, so at any time there are at least 3 dirty glasses sitting on my work bench.

I tend to buy a few 4 or 6 packs at a time just to let them sit in my fridge. I always intend on drinking it rather quickly, but it ends up taking quite a while. The time I realized it was when I found an Enjoy By 4/20 in the back of my fridge in mid June.

Trading beer. Bad habit if you ask my girlfriend because it costs add up quick.

    Also, planning vacations/hotels around breweries.

in the summer, sometimes , while smoking a cigar on my deck, I will pour a very good beer, as opposed to say a dale pale ale, which is good beer, but not say a zombie dust or a old Rasputin ( nighttime after dinner)

+1 for leaving my glass/beer bottles out. The GF is often awake before I, so it's an issue at times. BUT IM TRYING.

Buying multiples of a beer before trying it, expensive habit that backfires on occasion, even from the great breweries.

Drinking beer without exercising. Drinking before bed. Buying beer when already have been in the fridge (but I haven't tried this one yet!). Sometimes forgetting to tick a new beer. Sometimes forgetting to take a photo of said new beer.

Always use correct glassware though. My wife and I are the only two people in our 450 sq ft apartment but I get an entire cupboard for my glassware. She's a keeper.

I'm sure this bad habit is plenty, but I smoke way too many cigs when I drink. I'll plow through a pack on a good night.

I have a bad habit of not walking out empty handed. My other really bad habit is I keep maxing out my HS society purchases. I don't need to or really want to, but in my mind I justify that I need to buy more allocations than when I was HS. Because why move up if I don't buy more??
