    Good morning BAs! Another cool, wet day here in NW PA. We were to possibly have frost last night so I carried the hibiscus tree back inside - this will be the second winter this tree has lived indoors - it's only about seven feet tall, up from five last year, but damn it's getting heavy! Oh well, this is another day for the squash and tomatoes to continue ripening. Today's New Breakfast Beer is:

    It's OK but... would I pay $17 + shipping for it again? Nope. Next time I'm in Anchorage will I fill my suitcase with bottles? Most likely not. If my brother in Anchorage told me about the wonderful beer he found and would I like to try some? Sure - never turn down free beer.

    Today I did a side by side tasting of Boon Oude Geuze and Oude Geuze Mariage Parfait. The fresh and funky Oude Geuze won over the more sweet and complex Mariage Parfait.

    Here is a weird one. Northwinds Night Moves. A wet hop Belgian pale ale with roasted sweet potato. There is a bit of sweet potato on the nose, but it is less than negligible in the taste. All in all a decent beer.
