Active Duty BIF (Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA)

    I'm looking for a enlisted member (E5 and below over 21 of course) airman or soldier on JBLM, WA to whom I can unload a few nice BA barleywines on. The only catch is that you must tell me what major "law" or "title" establishes veterans benefits and is the legal root of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This particular law governs VA benefits and actions.

    The first correct response is the winner.

    This is awesome! I don't know anyone on McChord any longer, but love support of our military members. I do know the answer, but leave that up to our exceptional men and women in the armed services.

    I should have my son give you the answer, but he's stationed in Germany right now, just a little bit outside WA...

    As a retired AF member, I say kudos to you for doing this. Inspiring young fellows to actually learn a little about their rights and benefits is a damn good cause. A lot goes into their training and proficiency, and for good reason, but there has always been a lack of emphasis on education when it comes to important items that they need to know for their own good or the welfare of their family. I can't kick in much, but I'll be glad to offer a bottle or two of something special from VA. If you plan on doing an in person, just BM me your address and I'll see what I can do.
