Lame or Useful?

It reminds me of something I would see clipped onto a toilet. Not sure I'd ever be able to get past that mental association enough to accept this as worthwhile...

oh come on. really? I feel bad for the brewing dad that gets this nonsense for fathers day or Christmas.

I'll add that pellet hops out of the bag don't always smell all that great. at least not something I want interfering with my beer.

somebody will like this thing I suppose.

 

Or you could, you know, dry hop your beer or something.

 

It also seems strange as different hop varieties still in pellet form tend to smell similar. Not the same, but certainly similar. The character that comes from dry-hopping is worlds different to my nose.

 

It won't work. blah blah blah isomerization blah blah blah biotransformation. We all know pellets don't smell like beer.

Blue rocky mountains on the can for when you don't know if your beer is cold or not.

 

I prefer to just shove the pellets in my nostrils while I drink.
