So, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't recall a specific thread.

How does everyone feel about the Can Glass style of glassware? Love? Hate? Indifferent? Better or worse than an imperial pint? Is there a specific style its best suited for? Curious to here BA's thoughts.

As far as the usefulness of it (flavor/smell/head rentention), I dont know why I'd use one. But theyre pretty cool just for being shaped like a can. Especially the All Day IPA can glass.. that my roommate broke. They're better for a glass of iced tea than they are beer.

Never used one for a beer. But overall I'm indifferent.

I like them just because of the aesthetics. I just think they're cool and I'm not a huge glassware enthusiast who really cares about tulip shaped this, and head retention that.

I'm cheap with glassware but personally i find wide circular glasses/steins to work on some basic stuff like good Lagers to some degree (maybe that is just my past speaking to me?) but when it comes to more complex flavors i prefer something slightly tulip shaped or basic trapazoid shape (Aka American Pint Glass you can buy for $1 at almost any dollar store)... Doesn't need to be fancy just needs to follow some basic rules

I think they are pretty cool if you are knocking back some crushers but you never catch me dead pouring a BA stout in it. I'm not a proper glass natzi but that's my line.

    I think they're a gimmick.

They're cute. I won't refuse a beer out of one. But I can't see any actual advantages to one.

Dumb, but they beat the h*ll out of shaker pint glasses.

I like them quite a bit, nice and sturdy, though they'd probably never be my first choice glass, but good novelty factor

Next question? Seriously, this is marketing at its finest. To each their own.

I received one as a gift and use it fairly often in place of a shaker pint. I kind of like using it for no other reason than looks/novelty.

I'm lucky and have tons of glasses. I grab whatever I'm in the mood for. Sometimes it's the All Day can glass, and I pour whatever I'm drinking into it. As long as the glass doesn't leak, I'm good. (If I want weird, I snatch the HF teku.)

I have a few, they look nice on the shelf and I like that they are different, but I rarely find myself reaching for one. Too many better options.

I like beer can glasses. Casual, fun and small. Perfect for a good beer that doesn't need to be fussed over.

Got some from a local brewery. I think they're unique and standout, but they don't highlight beer like more traditional glassware. My wife loves them, but her go to beer is Miller Lite.
