Anything Barleywine or Imperial Stout. I keep a bunch around because of the crazy snow here in Syracuse.

That's the perfect time to break out the Schlenkerla Urbock/Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout blend. Which reminds me, time to stock up on some firewood....(and beer:slight_smile:).

came here to say this, when i think cold winter beer drinking this is the first thing that comes to mind. one of the best beers i have ever tasted, cannot wait til it hits the shelves. honorable mentions would be the only two stouts i really drink, old rasputin and great lakes blackout, i'm not much for stouts but when it's cold i'll drink these two.

If I had more of it Avery's Uncle Jacob fits the bill perfect along with a good Trappist Ale.

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout would be my 1st choice but most Imperial Stouts will do.

The dark beers - stouts, porters and Scotch ales. FBS and VAS are my favorites.
