From 3 Sons Brewing Co's Facebook page:

"Over the summer we collaborated with Cycle Brewing Co. on an imperial stout which has been sitting in barrels. We will be pouring a VERY LIMITED AMOUNT of this at the Shelton Brothers festival, Saturday's evening session! This beer isn't due to release for another few months. Come by Cycle's booth and let us know what you think of Spoiler Alert. Cheers!"

What?!? Two amazing Florida breweries are coming together for a collaboration? I feel this has incredible written all over it. If anyone tries this tonight, please provide feedback here; I'm really interested in this brew, but won't be attending the festival.

I think the best part is they are collaborating on a style both breweries do very well. I know there were lots of people thrilled when Alesmith and CCB, two masters of the stout style, got together and then brewed...a belgian dubbel.

As were the Cycle/Wakefield collabs! So sometimes collabs can be good.

This was fantastic. Poured 3rd session and it blew the Lost Dos away (not to say the Lost Dos was bad)

Also the Lost Dos was poured on the warmer side which may have affected how I felt about it. Does anyone know the name of this beer?

Was it just a barrel-aged beer or was there a special ingredient that you could taste like Coconut or Coffee?

The people that tried it, I meant, they would of been able to distinguish what flavors came from it. Sorry!

It was a great beer. Maple and coffee aged in bourbon

Was very smooth. Tasted a little nutty to me. Idk what the ABV was but it tasted dangerously low.

I hope I'll be able to make it to the release when it's bottled. Sounds mighty good.

Throwing a bit or rejuvenation into this thread in hopes someone has a contact at either brewery and can provide any sort of update.
