    Gimmicky and ugly. Teku FTW.

I like my Fiddlehead Brewery can glass. Just something different in the cupboard to choose from when I am feeling snazzy!

I actually think they look really nice, have a decent heft to them, and in terms of the way they concentrate aromas (with the slight inward-turning lip) they're--if nothing else--at least still far superior to the shaker pint.

Teku glasses aren't gimmicky and ugly?

Technically, they will not offer any real benefit, but I think they are cool looking and have a couple for that reason. The funny part will be the people that think they are better than the dreaded shaker pint when they have a smaller opening that would likely reduce aroma in comparison.

I prefer them over a shaker pint.

Guess I buy into the idea that Tekus are designed to better appreciate the beer you're drinking. So not gimmicky or ugly. But that's just my opinion.

And the difference between this and a Mason Jar is, what?

I have a can glass too but I'm not a big fan. It is what it is..... a novelty glass! Teku's are sissy glassware IMO, just sayin. but do whatever you want.

I'd give it a shot, but seems like they would break easily, and I tend to break a lot of glassware, even though I try to be careful.

Might just be a seasonal hipster trend at the moment. Probably wouldn't put much thought into it.

Mason jar has screw on lid option. Mason jar wins

Not the biggest fan, but I came across an anti-hero can glass and had to have it. I prefer it for the art more than glassware style

Kind of a neat thing, definitely prefer to drink out of that than an actual can  I don't look at is anything spectacularly functional other than the obvious...

I bought a couple to round out my glassware collection because they looked cool, but can't remember ever using one.
The first problem is that they are 12oz, so too small to hold a full 12oz pour including the head. Pouring twice is more work, and I'm lazy. I don't use shaker pints, but even a shaker has 14oz of volume.
And more importantly to me, it just doesn't feel right. I use specialized glassware not only for the aromatics, but also because I want to feel like the glass is something that was missing from my hand. Even the bump on a nonic accomplishes this. A can shaped glass just makes me feel like I'm drinking from a wide pipe.

Pretty much useless beyond the "different" factor. Not going to do much more for a beer than a shaker or mason jar. I would just use a shaker or mason jar instead, cheaper and more durable.

I have one. Its sort of a novelty I guess, but hey you can pour beer into it, then drink that beer. Not a "proper" beer glass per say, but a beer glass nonetheless.

    Indifferent, final answer.

The word for these everyone is struggling with, and missing, is "fun". Their sole purpose for being created is to make drinking a beer fun. I like that.

Don't use 'em but have a few ONLY because breweries were giving out their can-shaped glass things (SKA Brewing did one recently last year) at a local tap takeover last year. They sit on the shelf.

I also prefer them over a shaker pint since there's an angle to the rim. Makes a good bit of difference on the nose when drinking an IPA
