I'm a fan. I've got 3 or 4 that I picked up at pint nights and I use them pretty regularly when I'm drinking IPAs, PAs, Pilsners, etc.

I have about 40+ pint glasses from breweries, most here around Houston. I keep them around for brewery visits(gets you an extra 4 oz if you bring it). I have a couple of the can glasses, never have drank a beer out of them, I use them for mixed drinks. I have purchased none of these glasses, all free from tap takeovers

Got one, like it better than shaker pints as well. Nothing wrong with different it's an astatic , I can drink great beer out of an old shoe and it's still a great beer.

Like a Teku or snifter they are conversation pieces, but I don't think they enhance a beer anymore than a standard shaker pint.

I use mine primarily for pale ales.

I thought this thread was about cans where the entire top peels off, whoops!

Never heard of them until this thread, but I sure as hell don't need anymore beer glasses.

Try drinking Heady Topper out of the can vs a genuine Teku glass. You will see a difference. As for normal every day beers even for like PseudoSue for example, not a huge difference, but bigger IPA's and massive stouts or adjunct porters or whatever, they make a difference.

One of the local breweries puts out a new design each month. The print on them is always done by a local artist. I have four, and any time a new design catches my eye I go grab one. I use them for standard everyday sorta brews.

The one I received for free gets plenty of use on everyday beers. It doesn't capture the aroma or allow for much appreciation of the appearance of the beer or blah blah blah but it does feel compact and satisfying in my hand.

IMO - The antithesis is sexier and even offers insulation to preserve the temperature of the beer!

i have one from Back East, but don't use it very often. they dont feel like a can (they are definitely larger) or a normal glass (too oddly shaped) so something definitely feels off to me when drinking from one.

For basic drinker needs. I dig em. You get what you want to know about the beer out of the way, and they happen to grip well.

They make glasses out cans? ... you'll look like you are wearing binoculars.

Novelty - looks cool (especially when a brewery designs one to look identical to one of their cans, just in glass form) but is really just an exercise in form over function. Didn't think the glass did much for improving the experience of a beer, at least not enough to make me switch from a snifter.

They look neat in a kitschy way, but I personally do not have any desire to run out and buy them. I have an obnoxious number of glasses as it is and still only rotate between about 6 of them, so last thing I need is to introduce more glass ware to my cabinets.

I've literally never heard of this until now. I need to get out more, I guess.
