Hey anyone have any pics from last years DDay Eve line? I am trying to explain this deal to someone at work and can't find any good pics of what it looks like.

I'll fill up 2 growlers of whatever 515 has to offer for IPA's as well and truck them along!

I'll probably get flamed for this question, and I'm sure it's somewhere in the past 9 pages but all the speculation is hurting my brain. But, what time does the line usually form? I don't plan on sleeping there and I don't want to stay up all night in the rain. If I go I just want my wristband, my bottles and then bail and go fishing.

Line starts to form at about 3:30pm on Friday. Or do you mean in the morning? Around 7ish.

You should probably try your luck at the liquor stores then.

yeah it's been said a few times, but in the past if you get there before 7AMish you can potentially get a wristband. That said, it all depends on how many people though so really the earlier the better.

EDIT: oh and don't forget the wristbands are timeslotted. So especially if you are towards the back of the line (which at 7AM you will be). you may have a late slot which could mean 1-2PM range (not sure what all the slots are this year).

Seems like it'll be the same as last year. If there are extras they'll start selling up to 4 at 3pm. So if you get there in the morning, you might not be able to bail and go fishing.

Yeah, and I think last year due to such limited amounts of the extras I believe they only sold up to 2 bottles/person.

that is correct. it was said to be 4 per but last minute they dropped it down to 2 per person.

it was said that no one was to form a 'line' for the remainder allotment at 4pm, but there definitely was one and it was quite long. probably a good reason to why the amount per person was changed.

I was pretty close to the front of the line and think I only got there 30 minutes before they let you buy the extras. I might be off by a little, but we really didn't wait long. Part of the reason could be this was the first time they didn't sell the bottles at the brewery, deterring some from leaving the party and others getting confused as to where to go.

Anyone think there's a problem with pulling in an enclosed ATV trailer as a rain shelter? Would pull out the pickup so as not to take up excess space.

Someone just upstream said no parking on the street. Other than that, I saw at least a couple of small RVs and/or pop-up trailers in the parking lots last year. I don't think any sort of shelter is going to a problem as long as it can be taken down in a fairly short amount of time.

Would it be okay if I parked my 18 wheeler right at the front of the line starting on Thurs. night?

The past few years we brought a camper and there was no issue. Although you'll have to get there early, before the lots are full. I have no clue when that will be due to the weather this year, but I doubt you could have rolled in at 7 or 8 on Friday and gotten a spot last year.

First timer here. How does the camping portion work? I see in the pics posted above a "Line starts here" sign. And then the fact that you can't setup a tent before such and such time.

So you get there, stand in line have nice shares for a few hours, then go get your tent and set it up close to your spot in line? Then around 6-7am put tent back in car and fall back in line and wait for the gates to open?

    Sorry for noob questions :grinning:
