My wife's father in law has a timeshare condo in the same group visible in that Arial shot...so you might say i'm pretty excited to walk to this wonderland once they open up!

As the proud owners casually said:

"Anyone interested in checking out how the construction of the new Alchemist brewery in Stowe is progressing? Beware, there is some pretty awesome drone footage in this one."

Now that you've taken a picture inside it with some stuff for size reference, this place looks absolutely massive!

Stopped by the construction site on Thursday while on my way to HF and it's really coming along.

This is perfect as my little baby girl will be 6 months then and we can take our first road trip to VT in the nice weather. (no she's not our little mule  )

Word right now is to start brewing in April 2016 and open to the public in May. Fingers crossed and taste buds primed.

I hope this ambitious opening is correct. I love Vermont in May (actually any time). The green that comes out is as beautiful as the fall color.

Not sure this has been discussed already, but do we know how the space will be used other than for brewing? What do the public spaces look like? I wonder how big the taproom is and whether there is a kitchen? Is there another space for a retail operation to buy t-shirts and the like and, hopefully, cases of the world's best beer?

I went for a run up the Mountain Road from Route 100 a few days ago and made sure to make a quick detour on Cottage Club to view the progress...it is most certainly coming along ! The last time that I had been by the site was 5 months ago & quite a bit as been completed since then. The construction crew was humming along in the early AM.

Really excited to see and visit the new space when it is complete

I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a taproom. Just cans to-go and merchandise.

I thought I had read that there would be sampling if not a space to sell pours? I could be wrong about the full pours but I did think there would be samples.

@BoldRulerVT @timotao @Jbrews @timnyc @mltobin @HOP-E-DAYZ No interior mockups yet for your drooling pleasure - you'll have to lick your chops for awhile longer. Here's the basic working premise on the planned functionality of the visitor's center area: sampling (not a full-pour taproom), retail merch, retail sales of canned product, views into the operation brewery and canning area, no inside retail kitchen (staff will have their own kitchen as they do now in Waterbury), outdoor patio area. A lot of this will be fine-tuned as the day draws closer, no doubt...

Will there be room ala a ball pit where we can roll around in hops at least? Come on!
